COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN is enlisting the singing skills of his actress wife GWYNETH PALTROW for COLDPLAY's next album.

 

Martin, 28, is set to team up with legendary producer TIMBALAND in producing a country album, making it the fourth release from the CLOCKS band.

 

FIX YOU star Martin has been considering the venture for some time, and thinks that combining different genres of music is the way forward.

 

Timbaland enthuses, "We talked before she had her baby, and she said she'd come in to the studio. She's done a little something now and y'all hear the results soon."

A country album would be nice, provided they do it properly... They do after all play that kind of songs beautifully IMHO. Witness Green Eyes, See You Soon and Lost Highway... But Gwyneth???
