germany was at the last place this year.....but I think in years like 1976 the song contest had a special meaning...today it's just trashy and every song sounds the same.....BOOOOOOOORRRRRIIIINNNNNGGGGGG :snore:

^No - it's ALWAYS been trashy, and always WILL be!! :P

Yeah...but I think in former times it was better than today....anyways I don't watch it... :smug:

^Neither do I! Yet another thing we have in common!! :D

^I'm far more confident with "single" words and small phrases!! :D

Why does "deutsch" have a small D?

Vielleicht, weil das der "german lessons"-Thread und nicht das Julia/Mark-Separé ist ;-))

^I'm far more confident with "single" words and small phrases!! :D

Why does "deutsch" have a small D?

Ganz einfach, weil es für mich leichter ist nur klein zu schreiben...aber ich werde ab jetzt alles richtig schreiben, damit du es lernst ;)

That would be extremely helpful (please translate)!! :)

^Das würde sehr hilfreich sein

That sounds correct to me!! :D

Ja, aber meins war moderner ;-)

Konjunktiv II ist veraltet, hehe :-)

^I think yours sounded more like "That WAS very helpful"!

Meins war auch richtig :P

Why "meinS"??

Yeah, the german language has three types of subjunctive mood. Her was right, too, but it's not really used anymore in all-day life. Poetrists or so use this still ;-)

how do you say the numbers and colours in german?

one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten

black, white, red, yellow, brown, orange, pink, purple, grey, green, blue.

:book2:

ok the numbers = die Zahlen

1 eins, 2 zwei, 3 drei, 4 vier, 5 fünf, 6 sechs, 7 sieben, 8 acht, 9 neun, 10 zehn, 11 elf, 12 zwölf

the colours = die Farben

black= schwarz, white = weiß, red=rot, yellow(yay)=gelb, brown=braun, orange =orange and pink=pink(easy ones) a light pink is called rosa, purple = lila or violett (i hope it is), grey=grau, green=grün, blue=blau
