that it is one of the best fucking songs they've written/played.

 

If they ever put out a best of after their 4th album coming

late next year... they're gonna have plenty of candidates.

I love Shiver, but I actually like loads of other songs on Parachutes more than this song. Hmm..maybe I'm not seeing the greatness of this song as you all do?

Maybe......give it time, its a grower! When i 1st bought parachutes it wasnt one of my favourites on the album either, but now one of my favourite songs ever! :)

Yep i love this song too, specially for the lyrics and bring me back feelings of this year..damn, that song is exactly what i in repeteadly ocasions felt by the beggining of this year, then it faded out but i'll always love this one :)

It was instantly a superb track from the moment I heard it. Fairly clever & complexed musically, for Coldplay (although alot of that album was more complexed 'muisc chord' wise :goofy: than AROBTTH = where their 'sound' and physical music ability had grown), anyway yeah, Shiver with such 'simple yet effective' lyrics.

 

Very clever and very good.
