no I don't think so...not more than any other shoes. I bought mine last summer and now they have holes in the back and the fabric inside the heel is gone but I still like them, they are miiine...my own....my precioussssssssss :evil:

I do that, it's comfortable and in take them off in school too..and in the summer I walk around barefoot some days. That's much more comfortble than having your feet in two saunas after a long day or bus ride...
