well, I'm not allowed for the first three months to take holidays... it's written into law, because I'm kinda working for my country not really for the company I'm working at (it's kinda confusing, I know ;-))

panicator, no, I am working... uhm... how should I describe that... I'm working under governmental control... The government pays for me, sets the rules (f.e. I have to work 38,5 hours a week, 9 months long, I carry health coverage by the state, this holiday-thing and many more rules), etc. but I am working at a private, non-profit company.

This is very hard to describe for a person, which doesn't know this Civilian-Service-things

^yeah, i think i understand that. we also have this kind of setup, like a government-controlled corporation which provides services for the people, but is privatized as well.
