@Iris: July and August are pretty warm over here (over 30°) - and we have a beach and an ocean very close, too :D

But I guess, the water isn't as warm as your mediterranean sea, hehe ;-)

I live in the Eixample district but the rich zone is the Sarria district!!!

In the Eixample you could find all the tourist shops!!!! :)

i don't no. i wouldn't go to spain in summer, a bit too hot for me. it's a very beautiful country, but i don't like hot weather at all. so i'd go there in winter, automn or spring.

The temperatures are similar to here aren't they?

you're right Sally, cause the summers are really hots!!!! Sometimes I can't sleep in the nights because of the hot!!!

In the winter the temperature is 10-15ºC (more or less) and in the summers 25-35ºC... but as you said is kinda similar!!!! ;)
