A thread for you, sweet Lívia!!!!!!!

Featured Replies

I'm glad to know you had so much fun THAT month, which was mine! While you were resting the whole day, I was quite busy studying and getting stressed 'cos of the exams! I regreted so many days of my decission! haha, just kidding. // One month and a half I think it's Ok... I mean not too much, nor too little. Anyway, I reckon the question here is how you spend the days. If you don't do anything, even in a week free you'll be bored as hell. (and that happened to me, unfortunately).

wow!! I didnt expect you to hearing from Dona i Ocell. I was aware that he was well-known here and over the world, but...it's just that I didnt expect you'd have heard of Dona i Ocell, sweet Lívia. I can't understand the meaning there's between lines in his paintings either, I think his paintings are too abstract for me. Here, there is another well-known painter, Dali, and I prefer much more his paintings, 'cos they seem to be more worked. The Miró's ones are quite simple.

There's no reason for getting bored when someone else tells you a problem as long as you don't annoy your friend telling him/her the same story several times. I think it's good to trust ur friends "at this level", 'cos when they tell you problems, you can also learn of them - and try they don't happen to you -, and moreover, this creates a closer relationship 'cos friends are for listening to you when you need them the most, right?

Do you hate it? well, we didn't take her seriously - although we all knew she was talking seriously. It was even a ridiculous situation - sthg that was really obvious for her, wasn't for us -. Thanks for all your support!!!Today i've been studying as well, as always and tomorrow I'll revise it a bit more. Today I felt empathy for her 'cos there're always about 20 pupils in the class, but only come to the class 5 and when she saw that she seemed she was about to cry. however, the other pupils came late, though, so it wasn't that bad.

Yes, I have 2 Coldplay wallpapers. One of them is located in a strategic place of my bedroom..... 'cos when I wake up, first thing I can see is that wallpaper!! The other one is hung beside my door. What a shame you've never found any wallpaper of them. You don't know how happy I was once I hung it on my bedroom, sweet Lívia!

Regarding my relative: she lived in Brazil all her youth with her parents and she speaks Brazilian perfectly but she's currently living here. We still realise she speaks Brazilian 'cos of her Catalan accent. What's more, she has so much positive energy in herself.

Yeah, I indeed had lots of fun studying, sweet Iris! :freak:  Oh yes, you're super right!I'm on vacation since 4 days ago and I fell totally bored most of time...because I have nothing to do while I'm not on the internet...My friends are already traveling and I'm at home, with these rainy days and the computer monopolized by my sister... Anyway, I cannot complain about it ecause I still have some time to come online here... :nice:

As I like Miró very much I've researched a lot about him, that's why I know about the Dona i Ocell... Ohhhh, do you like Salvador Dali???I looooove him too, sweet Iris!!!I simply love that one of the 2 elephants, Les Elephants...And the Melting clocks is quite impressive too...The surrealism is the artistic moviment I most like...

Oh yeah, friends are really for listening to you when you most need...That's true...They're the ones that are with you in bad and happy times...I don't feel bored at all when a friend of mine come to me and tells me his/her problems...Actually, I feel good to know that they trust me...Is really good to be the chosen one to keep a secret or something like that...You feel like you're special... :nice:

Wow, poor you and your classmates, sweet Iris!!!Well, but at least you didn't take her too serious, right?Yes, I hate when teachers do that...I feel like I'm dumb... :P

You've been studying a lot these days, sweet Iris!Wow, but is there a special reason for that?I mean, besides the tests to improve your marks? I'm sure this big enphasis you're making will be a super great thing! Ohhh, and poor teacher!!!Just 5 pupils? But as you said, good that the others came late...Here there's a proverb that says: ''antes tarde do que nunca'' Something like better late than never... :P

Ohhhh, you must have a beautful bedroom, sweet Iris! The coldplay wallpapers must give a super lovely and warm feeling! :nice: And I won't give up, someday I'll find a coldplay wallpaper tu put in in my bedroom!

Wow, you have a relative that speaks portuguese! That's incredible nice!Poeple say that it's not a very easy language...You can learn some words with her, sweet Iris! :D And later we can both talk in portuguese!!! Nah, just kidding... :P Does she have positive energy in herself? Awww, that's lovely to hear!!! :nice: Guess it should be a pretty funny mix, brazilian and catalan! :nice: Did she enjoy the time she live in Sao Paulo? :)

oh, my poor Lívia! Are you already bored (in 4 days?!)? I hope we'll be able to ertentain you a little bit, then! Anyway, I thought the weather was good these days in Brazil 'cos here it's winter time... and over there is summer, right? or that's what I thought. I remember last summer I was on the computer too much and fortunately I didn't get bored of it, although I also made a huuuge travel that lasted 20 days and I was quite entertained while planning the entire journey.

Yeah, Melting clocks is really great! Didn't know you did such researches about them but... you wanna be an architect, so I suppose it's normal! ;)

That's true, sweet Lívia! It usually makes you feel good when someone tells you a secret... 'cos it's as if this person would let you know his/her private thoughts and he/she lets you come into his/her small world. :nice:

No, of course we didn't, although she was being honest when she said that. However, I really think she is a good teacher - once, she couldn't come to class and another one replaced her and it was horrible. I was about to come out of the class, so imagine! We didn't understand anything, and the following day we asked our teacher to explain the lesson again! it was something quite desperate! :S

we also have this proverb in spanish: "mejor tarde que nunca" and I think it's right! Yes, I'm studying so much 'cos I wanna improve my marks (or should I say pass the subject?) and what's more, 'cos I have a project, and for carry on this project I must pass the subjects that Im doing now.

My relative enjoyed the time she spent in Sao Paulo, although she was overprotected by her parents, 'cos they told me there was a high crime rate in the streets and they also missed their country. However, she told me it was a good experience

EDIT: I see you're online!!!

How're you today?

Awwwww, thank you, sweet Iris!!! :nice:  Coldplaying always enternain me, be sure of that! You give me looots of super great energies!

Oh well, that's what I was expecting, sunny days and lots of happiness around...Here is spring so people should expect flowers, beauty and a wonderful blue sky everywhere but what we really see it totally the opposite...The day is all dark, rainy and it influences people's mood I think...

Ohhhh, I wish I oculd have a computer just mine! That would be a dream! :smug: I cannot enter before 4pm because my sister is working from home now (all she has to do is giving some calls and talking to people on msn - such a hard work, huh? :dozey: )...And there's no possibility for me to plan a trip because my father is working, he'll take vacation just on the 2 last weeks of january... Anyway, pretty nice to hear that you had lots of fun on your last vacation, sweet Iris!!!I can imagine how wonderful your trip was!I remember you pretty excited about the trip when you got back! :ncie:

Hahahaha, great to hear that researching about artists is a good thing when you want to be an architect! My sister says is a waste of time but it enters in one of my ears and goes off in the other... ;)

Ohhhh, you're always saying the right words, sweet Iris!!!That's exactly what I think about the secrets! The person really get into the other's small word! What a lovely description! :nice:

Hmmmm, I understood the point...I think when you get accostumated to a teacher, even if you're always complaining about him/her, when there's a teacher's substitution you always miss the old one...But the following day it was the same teacher that subtituted the other or it was your real one?At least you had the chance to understand the lesson again, right?

Sweet Iris, you're studying so hard, everything's on your side! And what's the project about?

Ohhh, I see...The level of violence in São Paulo is indeed quite high...This make me feel scared about the city...The coldplay concert will take place there!!!

Ohhh, hey there, Nico!!!Long time no see!How are you?

And I haven't seen you question before, sweet Iris!!!I'm sorry!!!Well, I'm doing fine...There's nothing to complaing about besides my lazyness... :P What about you???

Hey Livia, talking about long time no see :)! I hope you still remember me ... How are you these days girl ?

  • Author

^ Hey Nicolas! Looooong time no talk!

I'll reply you the message later, Ok? let's chat a litte bit! :nice:

your lazyness, sweet Lívia? don't you know it's getting worse when you do less things? When I'm in a high state of lazyness I try to do something, 'cos otherwise I get terribly bored and I can't see the end of my boredom. :)

Well, do you remember that exam I mentioned to you yesterday? I did it bad... I know it 'cos our teacher give us the solutions after doing it, so I realised I didn't respond properly the questions. Anyway, besides this, my day has been Ok. This afternoon I've been trying to play the piano, a new song called 9 crimes by Damien Rice, which I love!!!

what have you done today?

W-O-W!!!!! :stunned: :stunned: :stunned: Nik!!!!!!!!!!!!!Of course I remember you!!!!How come would I forget you? :nice: You're totally right, long time no see!!!!

I'm fine, thanks!Vacation time, so plenty of time to have nothing to do... :P What about you?

So how are you these days livia ?

As always, you're right, sweet Iris! :nice: I really know I should do something different but I really dunno what should that be...I'm thinking of waking up earlier and go for a big walk or go running (I love to run) or even just to breath fresh air...Well, not fresh when you live in a town but just some air... :P I wish I had a bycicle here in Belo Horizonte to go on the streets...But mine is at my grandmother's house...Besides, it's a bit dangerous I guess....

But was the exam an opened one?I mean, you had towrite the answears or just mark them?Because if it was a opened one, as we call here, you still have chances to get some point, sweet Iris!Teachers uses to considerate things that we would never imagine that they would do...And if it wasn't don't worry, there's another exams to come and you'll have mre chances to recover the points! This is just the beggining of the year, you'll have much more chances!!!!!

Well, today I started reading a book called ''an unquiet mind'', of Kay Redfield Jamison...It's not the book that I usually like to read but somehow. it got my attention...Have you already hear of it?Besides that, I watched tv and traveled around the internet...That was all... :P

Ohhhh, I wish I could hear you playing the piano, sweet Iris!!!It must be beautiful!Damien Rice is such a great artist! He has wonderful songs!

Omg, another testimonial! :uhoh:

Bored to death :/

But it's likely to improve.

You?

I see you're rather chatty

Chatty? I'm afraid I dunno this word... :uhoh: Does it come from chat or something like that? But by the smile it seems to be a good thing.... :nice:

Oh, I'm ok...Just listening to some music and waiting for time to pass...Nothing really special... :P But hey, let's get over with this boringness!

Let's have a party then...

I asked for coldplay to come to our party and they said yes!Yay! (Guy couldn't come because he was finishing some music stuff)

:drummer: :singer: :guitarist:

I invited nice people...

:mickey: (Look!Even Mickey went to your party!) :indianchief: :gorgeous:

And a nice dance floor

Hope this party had cheered you up a little bit... :nice:

YOU!!! TESTIMONIAL girl, you're always posting looong messages! :P

oh, by the way, i'm sorry i didn't reply you earlier but coldplaying didn't work! It was weird.

I think these are good ideas. do you know what i do while i'm studying? i make a note of what I'd like to do. I mean, sometimes, i'm quite busy and i have to study, but i feel like doing something which i do not have real time for doing and i always think: well, make a not of it in a notebook and when you're on vacation, then you'll be able to do it, 'cos you'll likely be bored! :) Also, you could go to the cinema, or do a bit journey with your family for one day, or things like this!

let's hope you'll have this desired computer soon, sweet Lívia! Here at my home we have 2 computers, and since we have them, we haven't had problems anymore!!

no, it was that kind of exam that you have to respond: true or false and fill in the gaps with a name, but also, if you answered the wrong answer, then it discounted points, so you had to be careful whether you replied the question (or not!).

I have never heard of this book, sweet Lívia!! tell me a bit more about it? which is its plot about ? :)

yeah, indeed he is! I'm trying to play 9 crimes !

Boredom seems so far away!

*Thanks, girls :nice:*

Could you ask Martin to play Gravity for me?

Oh, nice tips, sweet Iris, thank you!I'll do what you said next year!Enjoyed it a lot! Well, my father, sister and mother are quite busy right now so there's no chance for us to take a day off to hang out together...And my brother is away all the time with his friends...Going to the cinema alone is a bit sad, but as I don't have nothing better to do I think that will be the best thing to do... :P

I'm gonna answear the things part by part because I don't wanna be named the testimonial girl! :laugh3: :P

boringness = boredom

I knew my word wasn't right! :laugh3: :laugh3:

Awww, glad to know that we sent your boredom away, Miro!!!

And of course!!!You're on contorl, you can ask Chris whichever song you want! And I'd loooooove to hear gravity!I simply love this song! :smug:

*Yay!*

That's the best song I've ever heard :)

"Honey...it's been a long time coming."

*blacks out...in delirium*

Thank you, Chris =)

Ohhhhh, thank you, sweet Iris!!! I'll think positive to get a new computer soon...Guess my father will look for a new one when he have time! :D I remember you saying that you shared the pc with your parents too...I'm kind of in the same situation that you were! :P
