i am also beginning to appreciate csi:ny. though i really wished that gary sinise's character isn't too serious. i like how the characters of gil grissom and horatio caine were developed to provide smart humor. i know, horatio isn't supposed to be a funny man, but it's mainly because of the work of the brilliant david caruso. lol.

 

CSI:NY is good because it's very fast-paced as it should be. The characters seem to really know what they're doing. Celebrity guests. Very nice.

 

I don't know why Gil left. Maybe you're right. I'm not liking the Lawrence Fishburne character last time i watched, he's inexperienced and the staff (i'm not fond of the lab techs either) doesn't seem to respect him.

Yup, i actually remembered that female CSI who got killed after 1 seasn in NY. Career change perhaps? I've seen her in movies recently. I wouldn't care much because her character was not given time to develop. But with Warrick, Gil and Sara? That's unbelievable! I've grown to like them and now that they're gone, nothing's quite the same.

And Greg, the lab tech promoted to CSI. (His replacements in the lab have been unsufferable.) Oh, and Brass, the "brass". Nic is my fav character of all 3 shows.

 

My choices in order:

 

best - CSI (the original)

ok - NY

so-so - Miami

 

I miss Grissom's (sp?) dry humour and I really like the Warrick character. I always found the Sara Sidal to be too fragile beside the others. I thought the miniature models series really engrossing - even chilling at times.

 

On NY, I just can't get past thinking of Gary Senise in his "The Stand" role.

 

On Miami, ...............I whince............... every time............... Caruso's .................character.................. is speaking. His halting style of phrasing is too artificially affected, imho.

yes i remember that episode, it was in a finale (ny uses to do things like that on the finale :uhoh: ) i was like :o the whole time while i watched that, so good that he was ok after that, although he got injured, luckily Mac was with him and helped a lot (thanks to his marine experience ;) )

haha. you're quite right with Caruso's character. i hated him before. he doesn't seem to do anything in the show but say one-liners phrased haltingly. he never does lab work. but i find it quite unintentionally funny. I saw parodies of him on youtube and what a riot!

i prefer series which has a definite end. i think supernatural is good for five seasons only. and dexter maybe for another two seasons.

Yes they are. French channels are in French. Sometimes, you can watch old movies in original version but i've got English channels, Dutch ones and also CNN. My favorite is "Animal Planet" which is in English. As a result I can keep up my English. On Dutch channels, movies are in English subtitled in Dutch. As I don't know when CSI is shown on those channels, I watch the series on the French one as I usually buy the TV magazine. As for CSI in Manhattan, the season 6 is newly shown for French.

here it is dubbed in spanish :uhoh: we can't get foreign channels. :\

but i've end watching it in english to can follow the last seasons faster :wacky:

there will be a new character called Kaye Sullivan.

she has done the cast already, and had to play 3 scenes from other episodes.

people seem to think she'll be a young character..... that would be interesting, since we have stella (mature) and lindsay (middle) already.

 

sad sad it seems that definitelly angell won't be back :bigcry: i liked that character, she got to be good friends with the team and the girls. :(
