songs they play before the gig

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I was wonderin' if anyone can fix me with the titles of the songs Coldplay uses before they come on

I went to the Antwerp 30/11 gig, which was fantastic, but am also still vibin on the tune which played just before they came on

It samples marvin gaye's " T stands for trouble" from the Troubleman soundtrack ( one of my all-time favorite albums) backing a Malcolm X speech about "the road to freedom" and "the descendents of slaves".

The tune before that one was also very nice :/

In another thread I found out they played these songs before every X&Y gig, so if someone cud fix me this playlist, I'd be one very lucky chap!!

Cheers ;)

i heard that there's a dj that sets the music before they begin with the gig..so...

dzl// You're looking for this track: Brand Nubian - The Meaning of 5%

Hope you find it! :)

^I hope he wasn't the same DJ as in Köln!!

Horrible!!

He should have been banned from DJing ever again!! :P

In Oberhausen he played a Remix of Franz Ferdinand "Take me out" this brought good mood!

^Well it can't have been the same guy, then. That's the kind of song you'd WANT to hear!! ;)

^Maybe he was ordered to play BETTER music, then! :P

Maybe......and there was another song....many pople knew....but i didn't!If I'm right it was David Bowie.....
