I must have listened to this song about 100 times already, i just cant get enough of it! It sounds SO good when i listen to it on my ipod, nice and clear...the guitar is just stunning. Funky lil' beat to it too. LOOOVE IT!!!!!!! :D :heart:

I love most of Coldplay's b-sides, but I just can't get into this song. The music just bothers me. It's not that I dislike the song, I just don't think its one of their better b-sides IMO. I much prefer Things I Don't Understand for an X&Y era b-side to this song.

What a lovely little song! Not like the usual Coldplay which is good! Beautiful!

 

That was my first impression too Ted. It sort of grows on you and leaves you whistful for more.

This song is simply...amazing. If the next album has stuff like this then Coldplay is instantly my favourite band. They're getting better and better all the time (from the above-average Parachutes to the wonderful A Rush Of Blood To The Head to the spectacular X&Y), and if the next album is folksy and playful like Sleeping Sun, then me want.

And I just realised how I would describe the tone of the song:

 

'Zodiac'

 

What with the little 'ting' noises and the soft maracas and the chimes and the hippie feel...it's wonderful.

 

Actually, 'Zodiac' would make a great album name...ooooooo...

:huh: this song is definetly not close to a good b-side. It is an average b-side and i believe all x&y songs are alot better then sleeping sun. I believe the song lacks agression, it is very layed back and boring, and it sounds like hes talking when he's singing. I Ran Away and Things I Don't Understand are "good" b-sides probably the best along with proof and how you see the world.....

sleeping sun is AWEsOME. It is right up there with I Ran Away, but I ran away barely didnt make the album
