December 18, 200520 yr I'm looking for a job in England at the moment' date=' I'm looking for one in the north, though. If I find one I'll go there for three months, before I go to Uni.[/quote'] phew, working in England... respect... I'd never imagine to do that, would be too difficult to me... ;-) Why not? Sure it won't be easy, but I normally don't have anny problems to understand people. I jut wanna go abroad and do something different. I've been to school here for so long now, I live in this village since we moved there when I was five. I'm just a bit bored of that actually. I know that I won't be able to realax when I'm here. Most of my friends either have to work or aren't here. So I'd probably get bored pretty soon. I think it's a great experiene, I will have to go to a different town when I go to Uni anyway. A quite comprehensible point, Sally! Well, with me it's... ehm, I'm living in a kinda big city and I think my last year in school was very great and right now after school I have my probably best time in my life... and I don't want to loose all my friendships and relationships by moving to another country... I even won't move far away from here for studying (just about 50km to Hamburg) so... I'm kinda homebound (meaning my hometown, not my home ^^) But I agree, that life in a village is _totally_ different and way boring, so maybe I would have done the same like you... I understand what you mean... I don't wanna lose my friends here either, there are some people I like very much, and I know that I will miss them a lot. But the problem is that most of them are gonna leave this place as well. Manys friends have finsished their apprentiship last year, or they are gonna finish it next summer. Most of them will have to leave this place because they won't find a job here. The majority of the adult people that live here work in the area arund Zürich, which is about an hour from here. I also have a lot of friends that are going to Uni next year and they won't stay here either. I think it will be a great experience to live in another country for a few months. I'm sure I'll worry before I go, it won't be easy to go to a town where you know absolutely nobody. But I always wanted to go to England and now I have the chance to go there, so...
December 18, 200520 yr Hey sally! I think, you're right... It's (as usual) the first step, which is very hard to take. Some people are able to do it (like you), some won't even try it (like me)... always the same thing ;-)
December 18, 200520 yr Yeah, I just feel that I have to do it... If I stayed here, it probably would be more difficult for me three months later, when I go to a different town in Switzerland, which I have to do when I go to Uni.
December 18, 200520 yr Yeah, probably it's the best for you... and you can't loose much over there in England, I guess. At least I wish you all the best there, I'm sure you get something nice worked out over there :-)
December 18, 200520 yr Thanks! No, I don't think I can a lot lose there., I will just get to know new people and have a good time over there... at least, I hope so. I'll be so happy when I have finished school, it's so boring... the last year is the most boring. I feels like being at a language school.
December 18, 200520 yr Last year boring? I found it pretty exciting ^^ Because of this damn final examns and stuff ;-) Yeah, goodbye, sally, have a nice remaining weekend!
