December 17, 200520 yr Leap Second for 2005 There will be an extra second added to 2005 to keep our clocks accurate to the slowdown in the earth's rotation. The extra second is added one second before midnight on December 31. The last extra second was added in 1998.

December 17, 200520 yr and some people are trying to stop it happeneing because it fucks up the atomic clocks :lol: You shouldn't really notice the difference in your computer clock unless you use real-time applications.
