BUSH does it again...bastard

Featured Replies

I just felt another rant coming on.

Anybody else really pissed off at Bush? I mean, what hes doing with the whole "monitoring" of phone calls it practically similar to the secret police and such from the soviet union way back in the day.

Plus, he goes on and on about victory in Iraq and intelligence and all this other stuff...hes trying to brainwash ppl.

I dunno, I heard the speech yesterday morning on the radio and got mad. Then I had a whole argument with some ignorant guy in my class who said Bush was "pimp" for going out to war.

Thanks for listening to me vent part of my frustration...I would go on for pages on this topic if possible.

Its called protecting your country...but maybe thats not his job...damnit people it almost like you want the terrorist to attack again. anti bush people blame bush for the attacks THEN THEY GET PISSED WHEN HE'S DOING EVERYTHING HE CAN TO PREVENT MORE ONES....its utter fuckin stupidity.

who's being brainwashed are teh fuckign idiots who see the show the terrorist put on for the media and beleive what they want you to believe. people like that are playing into their stratigy...its brilliant if i was a terrorist i'd do it, but atleast we have people in our country who see through this....so its not going to work for them.

im sorry but our goverment has a right to listen to calls made by suspected terrorist...or people that could hurt our nation. what do you want the goverment to just ignore the threat? we did that and GUESS WHAT ALMOST 3,000 AMERICANS DIED...YEAH THAT WORKED.

nice to see you're back replying to political threads... i hoped you had stopped.

I don't like Bush, but come on, various security agencies are always listening in on phone calls, this is just a fact of life today that very few people openly discuss, there are even computers that monitor all US phone calls listening for key words like "kill" or "bomb" and records conversations with those and other such key words for analysis by security experts. This is nothing new and certainly didn't start just with Bush.

i was thinking the same thing about you...maybe ill get lucky and you will.

its pathetic but alot of people are going to hate him no matter what he does. just because he does it.

^Maybe it's because whatever he does is actually really dumb. :idea2:

I started to read your reply but stopped about 2 sentences in.. lol

ITS CALLED INVASION OF PRIVACY AND A VIOLATION OF MY RIGHTS!!! Where does the Pres. and gov't get off listening in on conversations of AMERICAN CITIZENS????? I understand the whold espianoge thing.. and TRYING to protect the country... but who the fuck is he kidding?? He IS NOT going to rid the world of terrorism and we might as well get used to living with the fact that another attack is eminent.. sucks really but its truth. This President doesn't even follow the proper protocal to spy on ones conversations!!! Can't he do anything right???

I think we all know that answer.. lol

^Maybe it's because whatever he does is actually really dumb. :idea2:

its called hating him no matter what...you get mad because he didnt do enough to protect us from 911 he does stuff to protect us and its bad. you complain about him standing so he sits and you still complain. ist pathetic. its not at all what he does it because he does it.

IT boils down to partisan politics, nothing more nothing less.

we can sit by and do nothing to stop terrorist....or we can spy on suspected terrorist and hopefuly prevent some attacks...atleast he's doing something to protect the nation. if we have to spy on some suspected terrorist so we can save some lives so be it. its a good thing, IT WOULD BE BEYOND FOOLISH NOT TOO. any president WHO DIDNT spy on suspected terrorist would be letting the nation down as a leader and as a american. you might as well send the fucking terrorist some bombs to help with their attack if your not going to spy on them. it utter stupidity not too. its boils down to him being a republican. if clinton did it or any other democrat the dems wouldnt care, I doubt any of yall would give a damn. but the same goes for republicans...i mean i bet if a democrat did this their would be many to get mad. its partisan politics. nothing more nothing less. im just willing to admit it.

I dont really like bush either, but I dont feel as strongly as you do about the whole phone monitoring thing. If it helps, let em continue. As long as they dont bust into my house and accuse me of terrorism cause I said I wanted to kill my sister for being annoying, I'm fine. Terrorists could be planning something right now. You never know. Just because terrorists havent attacked us since 9/11 doesnt mean they're not out there. I hate how everyone thinks that Bush is gona keep everyone safe. Another terrorist attack is inevitable. You cant stop em all. We're never gonna stop terrorism completely.

this is such bullshit Nick lol its hilarious!

I don't give a flying fuck if it was Clinton, Bush, Bush Sr. or even feckin Ronald Reagan!!! Listening in on US CITIZEN'S PHONE CONVERSATIONS WITHIN THE COUNTRY is just wrong. A direct violation of the Constitution and our Civil Liberties. THIS is what has people up in arms. Its already bad enough that we have this stupid Patriot Act renewed... AND there was NOTHING that could've been done to prevent 9/11 from happening.. and there absolutely NOTHING we can do to prevent it from happening again. All we can do is learn to live with the consequences our government has put forth and the new way of life. Period.

Camille, it's not even worth it sweetie.

Nick is so fucking sheltered it's sad really. He's the type of guy who would give up his civil liberties to fight terror. He is a blind sheep. Keep on eating all the shit propaganda you can Nick. I bet it tastes good buddy.

maybe for you. but for the majority of people its partisan politics. they'll get mad if bush stand and mad if he sits. its the same for dems and repubs. maybe not for you. but from what ive heard you say throughout these boards i happen to believe you wouldnt be so mad if a dem was doing it.

there is NOTHING wrong with spying on terrorist and suspected terrorist, it has to be done ANY GOOD PRESIDENT WOULD DO IT and should do it for the safety of our nation. when 300,000,000 lives depend on him he has to do what he can to protect them, if that means terrorist and suspected terrorist get spyed on so be it.

we could have prevented 911, but their would have been some other terrorist attack. its possible to prevent them, but we wont be able to stop them all, but atleast we can do is try to prevent the big ones or as many as we can. we could have stopped 911 from happening but their would have been a 9/12 or 9/13. another attack will happen but theirs a chance we can make it less bad.

ill give upa civil liberty of a fucking terrorist or suspected terrorist to fight terrorism, but when they start spying on joe smo for no reason then its not ok.

correction i was once a blind sheep as you were..i used to follow the pathetic crowd and believe much of what you did..i finally opened up my eyes and stopped listening the bullshit. i did my own thinking an research and saw the error of my ways...im glad i did and glad i did it when i was young. because i was much like you. and it was bad.

I'm very thankful for having my eyes opened. a few years ago..i would have agreed with you fine folks on much of this...but through growing upand not being so ignorant i saw the light...and im glad. ignorance is a horrible thing, im glad im not that ignorant anymore.

sure nick, sure................. :dozey:

i shudder when i think of how i used to think...just like you. it was sad...its not too late for you. as you age you'll see the error of your thinking as many do.

No dude, history will show you and all of the other Repub junkies to be complete jackoffs. Just wait. You are living in a time when your party is on top of the world. History won't be so fucking kind to you ;)

You're younger than me BUD. and does it strike you as strange that Bushies approval ratings have plummeted this year ;)

Nick, no one on here makes my blood boil quite like you.

And don't think I have forgotten about your bullshit comments in the Kanye thread ;)

ok what part of 'against the law' don't yiu understand buddy.... in order for you to listen in on someone's calls-you need Judicial approval... something he hasn't done. He wasn't spying on terrorists... he wasn't listening in on calls made to someone outside the country... he was listening in on calls made within the country... WITH OUT JUDICIAL PERMISSION! That makes it unlawful. Even though he is the President.. he still needs to abide by the laws set forth.

How could we have prevented 9/11? Please enlighten me...

by not having so many laws that tied goverment agencies hands behind their backs, clinton not cuttign cia and nsa funding. go after alqeada the FIRST time they attacked. not letting bin laden get away like 3 times in teh 90's (thanks billy)

Blame it on Clinton Nick. I forgot that Bush is the second coming of Christ to you :dozey: He can do know wrong after all. Let's just give him a free ticket to completely fuck up the world.

I am more afraid of Bush than of Terrorists

he's done wrong. just not as much as clinton did. bush isnt a evil person. he's not fucking up the world. the terrorist are doing a damn good job at making it seem that way, its part of their stratigy to defeat him..its a brilliant one...im willing to admit it. i may hate the terrorsit but i admire some of their intelligence in their stratigy.
