The stats prove that Coldplay are an albums band and most of the buying public already own the X&Y CD. It's only the die-hard fans like those on this board who want to own everything released by the band and will buy the single. The rest are just happy with the album.

I'm sure they will be shifting a few copies of X&Y as Christmas presents.

Just bought the DVD and single, i will probably get many copies for other people for christmas too :D

As much as I would love to see Coldplay finally reach number 1, I would bet against it happening.

 

Heard on the radio that this X-factor git's single is one of the fastest selling of the year so I think its his no.1

 

(I've brought the single and the DVD single obviously!)

 

but can he fill Earls Court 3 nights in a row?
