anyone any idea if the boys are going to release a live dvd for this tour?.. i could have sworn id seen the Earls Court show DVD being advertised but cant find it anywhere now..

 

was also wondering if anyone had the MEN show from 19/12.... videos and what not..

So assumably, there have been recent recordings for their DVD.

 

So we could expect a DVD in 2006 :)

 

If i'm right the Talk Video was shoot in the beginning of November 2005.

maybe a bit because i where there. but i really think chris voice where better, and the band played better... :)

and its a bit strange if its from copenhagen, a danish radiostation has already broadcasted the concert twice..

It will be Oberhausen!Because they saw that I attended it and so they will release this concert! :P

I have a feeling - or rather maybe just a hope - that when Johnny spoke about having filmed their concert for the DVD he may have been referring to one concert that they had filmed for it - in other words, the DVD this time around might not just be one concert, it may have two.

If you look at what other artists' live DVDs are like (such as Jack Johnson and Franz Ferdinand) they feature a lot more concert footage from mulitple concerts, with different sets, and a lot of behind the scenes and bonus features stuff too.

 

I think that the new DVD will have a lot more stuff like this. The Twisted Logic Tour has generally been a lot better documented. From the Tour Diaries it seems like a lot of back stage and sound check stuff was recorded, as well as off-days where the guys spent time with friends from other bands like the Arcade Fire etc...

I think it would be sooooo great if the new Coldplay DVD was the following:

Disc 1: Documentary style, clips with the guys and friends during the first leg of the tour (in America or Europe) intertwined with concert footage (very much like the Jack Johnson live at the greek DVD).

Disc 2: Footage from second leg of the tour, either America, Australia or South America. Bunch of bonus features, like spontaneous song playing back stage and on rest days, and the guys in the studio recording new stuff (like How You See the World 2, Sleeping Sun and other songs)...

anyways, thats just my ideal DVD for the Twisted Logic Tour!

But to be serious.......Oberhausen was really a great concert (I don't say this now out of emotions)...because they did a great job there,you saw how much they love the things they do.,they had so much fun.....all in all it was awesome........and the audience was overwhelming!

the DVD will be AMAZING nonetheless!!

I'm thinking it'll be from that gig back in September at the Target Center :sneaky: !!

 

Just kidding!! I can't wait for more news on this if it is, in fact, going to happen!!

the other day i bought a Dire Straits DVD and it was as a one concert DVD but the footage was from two completly different concerts, this DVD mite perhaps be like that maybe

talk the tour is just the second leg of the Twisted Logic, so it's the same tour, but since it lasts so long it should be at LEAST 2 dvd's. :D

Whatever; I am really looking forward to it, and hope it has more than 2003's. My favorite band and singer of all!!!!!

I heard them saying something about Milan and Madrid in a interview... But maybe I'm wrong :P

 

Where was recorded the other DVD?

Live 2003 was recorded in Sydney, Horden Pavillion.

Just one thought, wouldn't they tell the audience before that they're going to record the dvd at this show? Just to get an even better atmosphere..?
