Speaker/sound problems

Featured Replies

Recently bought a new Dell PC. Working brilliantly, great sound coming from the speakers bla bla bla. A few days ago the sound started going pants. EVERYTHING I try and listen to sounds 'muffled' (is that a word?), the music sounds ok, but when the singing kicks in the voice echoes slightly and the music and the voice become distorted. Anybody have any idea what the problem is? Doenloaded music, music I've ripped from CDs, playing a CD in Windows Media without ripping, they ALL sound bad. I haven't altered any settings either - I had no need to as it sounded great before  Rar what's happening???
