WAIT! So it's not WHITE SHADOWS!!!! Arr!!! I dunno...Debs is deinately holding back something. Two rumors that have been announced throught the media she has unconfirmed! I honestly think that it should be between one of the two. Not cos I want the Hardest Part to be a single (I don't)...but this is getting TOO confusing!!!!! I still want White Shadows! It's a BIG mistake leaving it on the album!!!!!!!

I'm totally confused. I think Debs stated that White Shadows wasn't the next single. But didn't confirmed THP would be.

that last bit makes all the difference! i just don't understand WHY Coldplay would release THP, though. They have NOT performed it much on the 2nd US leg! Yet, they've ALWAYS done White Shadows! It doesn't make sense. Maybe, they'll release a AA-side (which would make everyone EXTRA happy!), or maybe 5 singles? that would be cool, too! i dunno. Things just aren't adding up. If they release THP...I would be SO upset! The b-sides better be SO good. No, they better be their BEST work EVER or else!

Well, at my concert they play SITS, then at San Jose they played THP.

the band isnt even crazy about the hardest part, i would like it but i think it could be swallowed in the sea. it shouldnt be a fast song cause that is just giving all key songs away. white shadows is a no for me

I hope that the new single is Swallowed in the Sea. l think it is a great song and loads of my mates who are not coldplay fans really like it too. :)

The only other X&Y song they've played at ALL of their concerts is Square One...

and White Shadows I think.

^ Yep Square One, Speed Of Sound, Fix You, Til Kingdom Come, and White Shadows are the only tracks that've been done at every show. Well, Talk, too...just not at the VERY beginning...but once it was included it's stayed in. Also, How You See The World and X&Y were added after the first US leg and stayed in.

 

 

I still think How You See The World MIGHT actually be the next single. I wouldn't rule it out!

they wont do HYSTW, i still think they are going for a medium speed song.. white shadows and square one are fast. i would llike to see square one but it kinda ruins the beginning of X&Y for me.
