I was really excited to see an article about the band on the front page of coldplaying.com. The reason, not only are they a great band but they are from my hometown of Halifax. Well actually they are from Sackville N.B (where my parents met :D )

Okay thanks, he's just jealous because Canada owns Russia in hockey.

I can be very cynical when it comes to local bands, so I never gave these guys a chance. I'm regretting it now...

 

My ultimate test for a song I like is if I hear it with no idea who it was by or where it came from and really like it.

 

I was listening to the radio yesterday, and they started playing this amazing song. It sounded a little Coldplay-ish, but different too. I couldn't get over it, but I missed hearing who it was by. I tried to figure out who it might have been and remembered this band In Flight Safety. It turned out to be their song Surround!

 

Wow... just wow. I like :stunned: :D

Surround is an awesome song.

 

My test for finding songs/bands I like is if the song gets stuck in my head or I must find the band at all costs.

Well that happened too... it was stuck in my head for hours afterward, over and over. That's why I had to find them... I would have gone crazy if I didn't!

Haha, I did the exact same thing with Keane. I heard them playing at Future Shop but had no clue who it was but me and my friend loved it. Then a few weeks later my friend told me about this cool band he heard. So I went to look for the cd and it was only $7...what a deal. :)

I want to see them play with Joel Plaskett on July 2nd but I won't be around. :(

Yeah they're awesome! My mom told me about them and said they had a new album so I bought it from iTunes. I'm very satisfied!
