i was talking to a friend yesterday,'cos i really wanted to know if there's something unusual(meaning wrong or weird) about me. Most kids my age must be partying crazy right now, but i'm home,i just ate ice cream and i'm enjoying it

i asked her if the other guys are too wild or if I'm too shy...and she said a little bit of both. How should I take that?

Thats true. The cool kids that dont follow the crowd also sulk in the corner of their rooms every night like my best friend (Who has started making stupid fucking collage's of the media that prove absolutely nothing except what a waste of time he's made).

Hey, I spend most of my week thinking independantly. Every once and a while I want to go to a nightclub and get completely alcahol-slaughtered and have a great time. It doesn't make me lame or 'un-cool' I genuinely enjoy doing it, and I genuinely enjoy being around my friends. The people I dislike, I do my best to stay away from

 

People can do what they want in their own time. If they want to stay inside at night, that's fine, if they want to go out to party, also fine, I dont care either way.

 

I do care when my best friend and some of my 'hardcore rocker' friends think I've suddenly changed because now I like to go to party's sometimes. It really annoys me, as I'm the exact same person Ive always been.

and uh, cool, you're thinking independently. i don't think I said it was lame to go to a party or anything, i just said they annoy me, and, i just think it's stupid when someone goes just because everyone else does... i guess if that's your idea of a good time, go ahead. i only said "cool kids don't follow the crowd" because it seemed like maui wanted to join the party because all the kids her age are. i just think no one should feel left out just because they aren't partying. :/
