The guitarist, speaking in the new issue of NME with Russell Brand, out today (June 2), said he bumped into Capello on a golf course. "I'd been out with a friend all night and we were on a golf course and he was there," he explained. And gorgeous ;) I like Serge's t-shirt. I bought the NME with Serge/Russell Brand on the cover yesterday. The interview's quite funny. Rather a lot of football(yawn!) talk tho, obviously :dozey: What about doing a track with Kasabian? R: I would not be able to do it. If I went onstage my trousers would fall down. I'd ruin Kasabian forever, all their work gone.

June 9, 201016 yr Yeah, I dunno why that is. Maybe he doesn't want to be a fully paid up band member :shrug: I'm sure I read about him playing on a few tracks on West Ryder, but I can't remember for sure now. Both Jay and Ben are like proper band members during touring or playing anywhere; they get pictured with the rest of the band on the red carpet at all these awards things and were up on stage collecting awards with the rest of the band. But when it comes to proper promo stuff, it's just the four of them. I know with Mew they always have Bastian & Nick paying with them but they're not actual band members because they're not involved with the songwriting process, so maybe it's a bit the same with Kasabian, idk :shrug: Woah...sensible discussion post with no fangirling...:uhoh: shall have to do summat about that...
