Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno has revealed he met England coach Fabio Capello - and had his photo taken with him.

 

The guitarist, speaking in the new issue of NME with Russell Brand, out today (June 2), said he bumped into Capello on a golf course.

 

"I'd been out with a friend all night and we were on a golf course and he was there," he explained. "We went over and he agreed to do a photo with us, but he went, 'Other way,' and he turned us around so the sun was facing us."

Really? I didn't know that... i just spend too much attention on Tom & Serge I suppose. :shame: And with Jay. Why is he not in their music videos? or in photo shoots? :thinking: but he plays with them live on stage. I've always wondered that.

Yeah, I dunno why that is. Maybe he doesn't want to be a fully paid up band member :shrug: I'm sure I read about him playing on a few tracks on West Ryder, but I can't remember for sure now. Both Jay and Ben are like proper band members during touring or playing anywhere; they get pictured with the rest of the band on the red carpet at all these awards things and were up on stage collecting awards with the rest of the band. But when it comes to proper promo stuff, it's just the four of them. I know with Mew they always have Bastian & Nick paying with them but they're not actual band members because they're not involved with the songwriting process, so maybe it's a bit the same with Kasabian, idk :shrug:
