I heard that Chris has already written all the songs for the next album! So maybe their break won´t take that long!!!! I really hope so! I can´t wait that much for the 4th album!!! :embarrased:

I kinda want their break to be long. Just so they can take it easy for awhile. Then BAM, andother Coldplay year can come along with the 4th album, and they'll all be in the spotlight again for a year's time. :lol: :shifty:

yeah i personally think they deserve a break ( im sad true but they do deserve one) i mean if you were about to have a kid wouldnt you want to take some time off and think about little apple deserves to see her dad more plus im sure the guys are very tired..they all deserve a break

Yes! They must come to Brazil! I have already on my mind all the excuses that i will tell my boss to skip work for a couple of days and go all the way to São Paulo to watch the show! BUT THEY MUST COME!

as I may have said before.. they are a band who flourishes when they're on tour... they right more, they are more creative, and they thrive on performances... so this album very well could take some time to create.... I'd say about a year.. maybe less, then BAM! We can expect a bigger better stronger Coldplay.. ala Parachute to AROBTTH days..... that was a wonderful transition period in their history.

Well if we're going by total revenue then the greatest band of all time has to be Led Zep. Coldplay would be like # 1000 or something, I don't know... if we're talking about album sales

or I think it's the beatles ... ah, yes I was looking at US sales so... it's probably the beatles. anyway, coldplay has sold a total of about 28 million albums worldwide

yeah, honestly, Coldplay coming out with two albums in two years would be kinda overkill for me. I love the anticipation. That's one of the best parts of being a fanatic. And it's all the more rewarding once it comes out and it's AWESOME because they spent all that time on it, and we'll love it because we've been waiting for so long. And, they're Coldplay :heart:

I think the label will release some "best of Coldplay" and another DVD...pelople will get entertained meanwhile, they won´t just vanish away!

I, personally would like a best of now. You can't really do a best of that's TRUELY a best of with more than 3 albums. Then it would just be a singles collection with maybe one other track.

 

HERE'S AN IDEA! Release a best of next...at the end of the tour, and include an X&Y album track on it (WHITE SHADOWS) and release it as a single off of the best of and not X&Y. Therefore, we'd get another single out of the deal! That would be cool! What would the best of include, though? I'd say all the singles plus Politik, How You See The World, Moses, Everything's Not Lost, White Shadows (the single from the best of), and one of their old EP tracks like Bigger Stronger.

 

That would be a GREAT collection!

Well before the next album is out, the 2005 Tour DVD will be out.

Can't wait for that.

they always said the first three albums was a trilogy, so throw together a greatest hits and add how you see the world and a couple of old new ones that didnt make the album, and release it as cd/dvd concert/greatest hits

i think they need to have a break. Be with family and stuff. Plus they have done loads for this album and tour, chris's stress levels must be in over drive

 

like people say, there has to be a dvd this year, so they wont be gone fully.

 

Plus i dont want the 4th album to be rushed, i would rather they went away for a couple of years and make some good stuff...

 

 

but what will i do without them again :(
