I have a question!

Featured Replies

I'm such a loser for asking, but it's been said many times and i just want to know what it means....what does it mean when someone loses a stone?? I know that they're talking about weight (right?) but how much would that be exactly??? I'm a curious one...so if anyone can help...THANK YOU!

Sweet

Hi Laura! (you'r Laura right?)

1 stone is 14 lb. I think most places except the UK measure their own weight in lb or kg rather than stone! So you're not a loser for asking it at all!

hahahaha i was gonna post and say 12 pounds. :D That would have confused you even more! God i'm so thick.

Sweety, Buttercup was right - a stone is 14lb. Most people use stones and pounds here, the hospitals use kg's but in everyday life we are all still imperial and say I'm 10 stone 7lbs or whatever even though the governments forcing us all to go metric! :D

Metric is better.

:D I think so too!!! but the older generation are having a harder time of it than I am.

i prefer to measure by piglets

ill have three piglets of yum-yums please :D

piglets....what :?

:D :D

Poor piglets!!

Did you have a quote before, Laura? Or did you change it? Cause I can't really remember having seen one right now... :? But I agree, that is such a sweet signature! And so true.

No, i didn't have a signature before....i never got around to finding one that summed up what i'm thinking...i guess...ok..that was lame..lol

Man, you're observant Kat.....good for you! lol

Sweet One...

Oh..i think i PM'd you but i think that the message may be messed up or incomplete..i accidentally pressed a button....sorry

I didn't get anything but nevermind! If you want to try again - go ahead! :) And you're right, I am observant - but not in an extreme way...
