March 29, 200620 yr :laugh4: Why do you want one of them? Apparently it's actually called a 'blow keyboard' This place doesn't seem to sell them anymore Angel music Looks like this place sells them
March 29, 200620 yr In Germany we call it: "melodica" my mum has one of those.... Really??? I have never seen one of those, how does it work??
March 29, 200620 yr well....the button are like at a piano....and you have to blow in it otherwise it won't work.....and you can play more tones at one time!
March 29, 200620 yr Oh well that's a new one,i guess it has an advantage that it does not need any batteries, but apart from that, what use is it??? :laugh1:
March 29, 200620 yr I meant why would you use on of those when you can use a proper keyboard etc.........
March 29, 200620 yr The piano keys are weighted (I don't know if these keys are weighted but you get the idea) so you can already put in emotion by playing louder or softer, short or long, and if you combine that with air, you'll get some really different sounds. It may not be popular but you can give a tune something different with effects like these...
March 29, 200620 yr http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melodica :nice: If you know R.E.M.'s 'Boy In The Well' - it includes a melodica-solo! (@ 2:45 min) Sounds pretty nice :)
March 29, 200620 yr I meant why would you use on of those when you can use a proper keyboard etc......... It sounds totally different to a keyboard....
