April 5, 200620 yr Do you even like the girl? As you told this silly story, I can see your mind being easily swayed my the pressure of "friends". I think it was really immature that kiddos in "hike school" are still grouping around ... pressuring each other to do something, just so's they can have a some form of entertainment during class. BUT the twist comes if you actually KNOW or have some kind of feelings for the gal...Which I suppose you don't because it seems your pals were picking at random? If you DO like her, and are interested in askin her out er somethin' then decide..and go ahead, nicely (and by nicely, I mean make sure she knows that this time around-the pressure isn't coming from your buddies- but from a sincere desire of you wanting to ask her out.) << that part is crucial as to getting her to possibly say yes. Take her aside even...if circumstances permit.
April 5, 200620 yr So some goofy friends of mine have been on a quest against my will trying to get me a prom date with women. my advice is don't tell her she was woman # 346

April 5, 200620 yr true. i say go for a gal (as a prom date, i mean) that you know and are good friends, regardless of what your friends think of he/she :laugh1: (comic relief?) about this current gal... since you barely know her and she you. leave her alone...don't set yourself up for akward moments in that one class.. promise?

April 5, 200620 yr ;) have fun, dollface. I know I will.....NOT going to prom  :stunned: which is very soon!
April 5, 200620 yr well, maybe the girl wants to go with you... maybe she wants to go meet a random person... is she shy? maybe it wouldn't be so bad...
April 5, 200620 yr cause this story looks like from 12 years old kids... please don't get me wrong... btw... my birthday is from tomorrow in 2 weeks... ;)
April 6, 200620 yr I say talk to the girl... ask her to your brothers concert, and if she says yes and all goes well, then u could ask her to go with you to the prom... I dont think the fact that u dont like her should stop u from asking her out, maybe shes a nice girl and u like her afterwards... ull never know if u dont actually get to know her...
April 6, 200620 yr Just do what you think is better. Do what do you feel is good. And if you get wrong,do not worry, you did something with the best intention of do it.
April 6, 200620 yr ditto ^^ you never have to do anything.. do you want to go to the prom or are you going because you "have" to and because your friends are pushing you to go? I think proms are boring...I didn't go to mine though..hehehe
