i love red hot chili peppers,but dont have any of their cd`s. iknow,im wierd! but what can i say?? i like standing in line or what ever its called. that at the moment is my fav of them.

i've only got californication which i really like, but their earlier stuff that i've heard sounds brilliant to (albums on my "to buy" list). i wasn't that keen on by the way though (i think that's the track you mean).

how many albums have they actually got? i was gonna rob my cousin's copy of bloodsugarsexmagik (is that what it's called) but i'd already pissed her off that day so thought better of it - she sometimes lets me go on holiday with her for free, so i don't want to get in her bad books. :lol:

erm I think theyve done about 4-5 but dont quote me on that

aye Sparklehorse are gr8 - they inspired Radiohead a lot on their movement away from Bends towards OK Computer! :shock:

oh right - i really should get myself sorted out with a copy of OK Computer. it's been floating round on my "to buy" list for centuries.

if you want to get into radiohead ill get you everything you need!

Coldplay are my favourite past-time :lol:

are they still working on a new album? which of theirs do you like the most? car horns meep then? never really thought about that.

as far as I have read they have finished their recording sessions for the new album about 2 weeks ago - now there is post production and track mastering to be done for a March 2003 release!

 

i love all their stuff and i really mean that! they've recorded nearly 100 songs (inc early demos etc) and i think i can name one or two songs i dont think much of and could count the number of average songs on two hands - not bad for a band who have release 5 albums!

 

and dont even get me started on them live - they are exceptional

i think it's so nice when you can love a band as much as that. i mean, i can't wait until i'm 80 and coldplay have (with any luck) had 50 million albums out and i can sit there still telling my grandkids how great they are. but then, i'm swear i'm gonna do my best to be a really embarrassing "cutting edge"old person - no blue rinses for me. :lol:

aye... im already buying "special" radiohead stuff that i can pass on to my kids - speaking of special stuff I bought the "In My Place" promo 1-tack CD Single yesterday for £3 bargain :D

i wouldn't even try to buy anything to pass on - i'm too careless - all that will be left of my coldplay infatuation will probably be a really scratched, battered cd - and they'll all look at it an go - so how did this work again? cos obviously at that time it will be like the jetsons - all hi-tech ( with escalators to the moon and stuff)

I think the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are overrated personally :roll: Apparently they are not very good live either which is very important to me. Anyway, just my opinion :mrgreen:

i don't know anyone who's seen them live - my cousin's dying to though. i thought they may've played a few festivals this year, with their album and everything, maybe glasto, but they never did. :cry:
