Red Hot Chili Peppers: New Album in 2006

 

Any other Chili Peppers fans here? I've always liked them, but I've been a really big fan since "Scar Tissue." Their last two albums have been great and I can't wait for the next one. Luckily, the wait won't be long. Their new album will be called Stadium Arcadium and will be out in late Spring/early Summer. We could have a new single as soon as next month!

Me too CaptainOats, I bought Californication when it came out and played it to death, i think its one of the best albums ever made, just incredible. So varied. Still love it as much as when i first bought it. And Scar Tissue is one of my fave songs of all time!

Cant wait for the new album, and im DEFINATELY getting tickets to see them in Reading!!! :)

Awesome, Steph. What's your favorite songs on Californication? After "Scar Tissue," my favorites are "Easily" and "Otherside."

 

Did you get By The Way too? My favorites there are "Dosed," "Can't Stop," "Minor Thing," and "The Zephyr Song."

My favourites on By the way are:

Those are all my faves that you both mentioned! :) And By the Way too, great song. I love that album, but i much prefer Californication, i play it more often for some reason.

My other faves on Californication are Parallel Universe, Otherside, Californication and Road Trippin, Easily (what a tune!). Get on Top makes me laugh. :lol:

I also love a few old ones like Give it Away and Under the Bridge, classics.

I love all those songs everyone mentioned. "Parallel Universe" is awesome too... my Rock station here played it in high rotation even though it was never a single.

 

As far as their older songs go, my favorites are probably "Under The Birdge," "Soul To Squeeze," and "My Friends." I like so many more though!

 

How do you guys like the name Stadium Arcadium for their new album? I like it a lot. It reminds me a lot of Californication, you know, a play on words. :D

I hope this album comes out soon, it's been a while since we've heard from RHCP.

I looooooooooooooooooove them sooooo much. (obviously)

If there's any band which is better than Coldplay, it may be the Peppers.

Some of my fave songs:

 

Can't Stop, Road Trippin', Give It Away, Aeroplane, Fight Like A Brave, Under The Bridge, Out In LA, Higher Ground, Venice Queen, Midnight, By The Way, Sir Psycho Sexy, Taste The Pain, Gong Li, Pea, Right On Time... I love almost each song they ever made, if it's a crazy funky one from the very first album or a brand new one from 20 yrs later!

Anthony Kiedis is damn sexy (I'm reading his book atm)

John Frusciante is the best guitarist ever and my idol...his solo stuff is something extraordinary!
