Larry' date=' theres a road which we use as a shortcut to get to the beach from my part of the town, noone hardly uses it...however Norman Cook (fatboy slim) was driving an opentop car along the little road and my friend was being silly and weaving about on her bike :laugh4:[/quote']

 OMG, it sounds so funny!

Lol, luckily that woman will sing in Crotian. ;)

Ah, never heard of Buckinghamshire, but it's great living next to London and I think it's a lot cheaper, isn't it?

Yeah, that's the best thing. We live near enough to London to visit whenever we want, yet don't have to pay the prices. It's still an expensive area to live in, but nothing like living in the city.

Buckinghamshire is near Windsor, where the Queen lives lol! :laugh4:

I know Windsor Castle... :) It's near Heathrow airport, or?

Bye Zore, have fun! :)

Kara - Nope, but my dad was watching the coverage and raving on about it all afternoon :snore:

Bye, fave fun! :) Where are all CP members today? ;)

I really hope this forum will still exist during the looooong Coldplay break...

bye Zorana!

lol!!!

It will be summer, of course we'll keep going....I hope!

I just see you both were registered since the end of 2005 aswell. :) How do you came to Coldplaying?

I must admit that I really began listening to Coldplay since I heard "Speed Of Sound". They weren't sooo popular here, so you never heard for example "Yellow" on the radio. I only knew "In My Place" and "Clocks" before "Speed Of Sound". After that I bought X&Y and it was so amazing that I ordered Parachutes and ARABTTH one week later. :) Then I searched a Coldplay forum but I didn't like the original board, so I registered here. ;)

Sorry, didn't catch what you meant :(

Larry - I've liked them since around late 2002/early 2003, when my mum made me listen to AROBTTH. Before that I hadn't taken much notice...I was young, and I just listened to what was 'cool' at the time.

I then went on to buy Parachutes, which I thought was great too, but not as great as AROBTTH. I remember really loving Clocks, Yelow, In My Place, Amsterdam and Politik.

It took me a while to realise just how special they were though. I loved them, but just like I did with any other band. But as soon as I heard SOS and bought X&Y it hit me how much I really loved them.

I've never registered on a forum before this one, so it never even occured to me about a Coldplay fansite. I didn't use the internet much before then. But it was great to find somewhere I could finally talk to people about how much I loved them :nice:, as none of my friends like them at all.

Ophelie! how are you today? :)

Well....I remember watching Yellow the video on the tv in about 2000, there was something about Chris (maybe it was indicating to me an obsession I would have in 5 years time hahaha!!)...but I didnt really catch onto the band. I loved Trouble though when that was out.

AROBTTH started it for me...I was doing a work placement in 2002 at a graphic design place, they played the album two days in a row in their office...I loved it! So I got it. If Im completely honest...it was really God Put a Smile Upon your face that got me into their music.

Christmas 2004 was when I was listening to them even more. By Summer 05...obsessive!!!!!! and desperate to see them. :)

I joined the official board in September, wish Id joined this one first and got to know Steph and Nettie then I coulda made it to the front with them!!!
