Hehe, good idea to change the thread. ;)

Oh that sounds boring... :( What are you doing tomorrow? Are you going to swim? :nice:

My day was ok. I worked from 7am til 6pm, then some friends came and we wanted to make a barbecue but suddenly a heavy thunderstorm came and we went back to the idea to order some pizzas. :D

I'm so excited about tomorrow. In 8 hours I will drive to Berlin again. :nice: Can't wait, because I'm so in love with the city. ^^ But first I will visit a good mate who's living in Magdeburg now. ;)

wow...thats cool you're going back to Berlin! :nice: 7am to 6pm....thats an incredibly long day!! What are you doing in Berlin again?

Probably no swimming...unless its really sunny...I went the other day which was great....tommorrow, I will probably not do much, then go out into Brighton for the evening.

Yeah, it was really a long day but it was only today, because some people have holidays. I also earn more money which is very good. ;)

First we'll do another sight-seeing tour... we want to visit the Potsdamer Platz, Checkpoint Charlie, the new main railway station (Lehrter Bahnhof), some parts where the Wall is still standing, deviding West and East Berlin, Kurfürstendamm (with the church which was destroyed during World War II) and in the evening we are going to watch Germany-Portugal at one of the 8 screens in front of the Brandenburg Gate. It's so great, celebrating a football match with other people who come from other countries.

Ah you're going out tomorrow. Do you have nice clubs in Brighton? I still haven't decide if I will spend some days in England or in Ireland in August. ;)

Ah cool.....I dont remember that much about Berlin although I was 12 when I was there haha....all I remember seeing was the Reistag(is that right?) and the zoo, as well as Brandenburg Gate....oh, and going to a mcdonalds hahaha!!! The best thing about going to Berlin was meeting Ramona, a German student who had previously stayed at our house in Brighton :nice:

It must be fun to watch the game with soo many other people!!

When I was clearing out my cupboard I found my old German exercise books from school....I couldnt believe what I'd written and learnt, and now its mostly forgotton :( lol....oh dear.

Yeah, Brighton has really good nightlife.....its quite expensive at times, but I know a sneaky way in to the most expensive one haha(through the bar next door to it....for free!) Theres so many different bars and clubs....for different music and drinks. I love it. :)

Hehe, the Reichstag is a great building. But since the last 5 years the area around it completely changed. It's so incredible... every time I'm going to Berlin I see new buildings... :nice:

Ah, you had a German student in your house? Are you still in contact with Ramona and did she live in West or East Berlin? :)

:nice: I always wonder why so many people in UK are learning German in school. It's the most unimportant and difficult language in the world.

Wow, that sounds nice! Hm, then I have to go to London and Brighton during my holiday. ;) Are there special and cheap trains which connect London and Brighton?

Oh, I just read that Berlin is under water! There was an amazing thunderstorm this evening and a lot of tubes don't drive now. :stunned:

Yeah, my family used to have German students for a number of years...they were always really nice! and usually from Berlin. Ramona was the nicest though, she kept in touch and even came to visit us last year with her boyfriend....so nice to see her. Im not sure whether she came from East or West Berlin.

Yeah....if you go to London, you should definitely come to Brighton! The cheapest train is about £12 return I think. and if you came we would have to meet, so I could show you all the best bits of Brighton!

What a nice story! :nice: I remember the guy coming from Australia who stayed at the house of one of my friends. You must have seen his face when he saw snow for the first time in his life. It must be indescribable!

Oh 12 pounds isn't very expensive, that's true. I really can imagine to fly back to London (and then Brighton) in August. The train starts at Waterloo station? Then it would be great to meet you, Steph and all the other people I just forgot, because I'm so tired.

Btw, I haven't seen Nettie here for ages. Do you know why?

Yeah thats so true! I know a girl from Australia, who also told me that she'd never seen snow...haha!

Yeah that would be so cool if you came to England again!! What kind of time? (Im going to NY at some point).

Im going to bed now.....tiiiiiired! lol night!

Hm, my holidays are not quite sure, but I think it will be between August 14th and 25th. I also haven't book a flight from Bremen to London and a hotel room (which is always the same near Hyde Park :nice:). So, a lot of question marks... ^^

I'm going to bed, too. It was a pleasure talking to you. :) I wish you a nice weekend! Bye!

Well! its up to you! It would be a good holiday whether you went to London or Ireland!

Nice talking to you also......must get to bed! haha!

Thanks! Yeah, good idea! I have to drive at 8am.

Good night!

heeeeey!

I'm fine! How about you?

Therese!! :nice:

how are you?

I'm good tonight. bit tired though.

Anyone had a busy day?

Hi Iris

I'm great thanks.. you?

And nope Dave, very relaxing. You?

a busy day?? not really..... I could say it was a relaxing one, 'cos I'm in holidays! You both too, right?

I'm fine, as well! This afternoon I went to the beach and it was ok! :)

Lazy day, went down to the local village fete, won nothing (my luck is low), come home. Watched tv, went to work, come home, went to see old-teacher/friend to get her to counter-sign my passport application form, come home, watched a bit of tv, come online, posted a bit, posted this message...

Oh, beach :nice: I love it! :laugh3: I had my morningswim this morning, all alone.. Love it :nice:  :laugh3:

it's ok!!! I'm gonna explain mine detailedly as you did.

I got up at 12pm, I had a mini breakfast, listened to music and then I had lunch! I wasn't hungry at all! Then I came to the computer and finally I went to the beach with my friends and afterwards we ate some crisps... Finally I came back home and now I'm here.

hahaha, my luck is low, as well, so don't worry!

sounds like fun, Therese!

yep, I was really busy while I was being on the beach!

Hey Dave and Iris :)

Ok, my turn.

Woke up around 12, went down to the lake, took my swim, washed my hair, shaved my legs, watched some telly, ate breakfast, went on here for a while, had dinner, talked on the phone for a few hours, watched the game and came on here
