I'm good, bit hot and a bit tired, yep, i sorted out my life upto a point, still looking for the right girl to come, but i have sent off some more letters to apply for some more jobs.

Oh, another one who is still looking for the right girl. ;) At the moment I also don't have luck regarding the love, but I'm still optimistic. Life is just too short to think about things which annoy you.

 

Hehe, it's still very hot here. Yesterday we had 39,1 degrees in Bremen. It was the hottest day in history. I guess I haven't seen rain since the last 2 months. But I like that kind of weather. Personally there's nothing better than summer.

 

I had a very busy week, but tomorrow I will drive to Groningen (Netherlands). :nice: Any plans for this weekend?

No plans whatsoever :)

 

We had an unoffical temperature at 1:30 on wednesday afternoon in the back garden of 102F.

Hehe, that's nearly 39 degrees. ;) Yesterday they were heavy thunderstorms around my area but we didn't get any rain.

Tonight I also don't have any plans. I will just enjoy the sunset while drinking the new Becks. ;) But tomorrow I will go shopping in Groningen (Netherlands). Some things are cheaper there than in Germany. ;)

They played a really big mix of their songs...not too many from the new album.

London - Brighton isn't as far as Bristol -> Grateley or Cardiff -> Grateley which i had to do a couple times.

 

Although next tuesday I'm going to a concert in Winchester, former capital of england, which isn't that far to drive home :D

London is 50 miles/80 km from Brighton, not very far at all... I got the train though...quicker and less stress lol! I wouldnt like to drive in London at all!

You're on summer holidays now then?

I don't have summer vacation Grace, although they started on Thursday here in Lower Saxony, but in August I have 2 weeks of holiday. It's as good as sure that I will fly to London again. I looked for a cheap flight and I found one. Bremen-London Luton-Bremen for only 55 €. Last December I paid 86 € I think. But I hate changing the money... :D When will you get the Euro in UK? :P

Its really difficult to guess whether the UK will ever have the Euro or not, sometimes I think we might, others....not...people love the pound too much.

 

Ive been kinda on summer hols for a while now.....got bored but done some overtime at my shop....extra dosh. Its boring tho...lol funny how Im moaning this is boring, but when its termtime its so stressful to get work done and everything...oh well.

So, you don't have enough money for a trip to London? :(

Hehe, yeah, life became more expensive here with the Euro. That was the most annoying think of it and I also liked the "Deutsche Mark". But 1 €uro was 1,95 DM, so it was very easy to handle with the new currency. Now I'm happy with the Euro. ;)

well, i think it was a mistake for us to get the euro ...

okay, it's cool that you can pay with it in almost every european country, BUT our economy is going down the drain :sick:

yeah, I think thats also partly why the Uk doesnt want to have the Euro....due to the economy reason.

Did you have problems recognising the coins at first, was it hard to change currency?

Yeah, I was so angry that life became so incredible expensive with the Euro. Today you pay 2€ for an ice-cream... 5 years ago it was 2DM! :dozey: But I still remember Silvester 2001/2002. My family and I quickly went to the next bank to get the new currency. :D We had to wait 30 minutes. ^^ And we got these "Starterkits" 2 weeks before it. :D It was like a new toy! :lol:

 

But I still have some Deutsche Mark notes and coins... :P

 

Kara, changing the currency was very easy, because you can say that 1€ is nearly 2DM. ;) I collected all different coins of all countries.
