Unfortunately I only have a german article about this topic now....

for german speakers:

http://focus.msn.de/politik/ausland/rassismus_nid_27925.html?DDI=3303

Well...the main topic of it is:

at easter there were some extremely right people in Potsdam (german city in east Germany) who smashed an afro-german man!

People of this city feel really ashamed now....

anyways......this article is about that the german governemtn now wants to create so called "no-go-areas"....that means that there will be areas you have to pay a lot of attention because there the danger of being "smashed" by those extremely right groups is very high....this is also especially for "black" (or every other "colour") people....who visit the football world cup this year....

Actually they say it is only a precaution...and people shouldn't get into panic...

but it makes me sad....

errm, Julia - I think you misunderstood something there. Those "No-Go-Areas" aren't planned by the government - the so called Africa-Council (a lobby-organisation) intends to publish a list of such areas.

Our politicians refuse such lists, so I think it's no problem at all - lobbies are to make such stupid suggestions.

I've heard there are already some "no-go" areas in cities like Berlin and Duisburg!! The police are too scared to go in there!!:P
