Rival fans vandalise Old Trafford

Featured Replies

Liverpool fans vandalised Old Trafford football ground during their victorious FA Cup semi final match against Chelsea on Sunday, it has emerged.

Fans ripped out seats and scrawled graffiti praising the serial killer Harold Shipman inside the ground.

A spokesman for the Football Association confirmed it was talking to Greater Manchester Police and Manchester United about the incident.

Workmen are trying to repair affected areas before the next home game.

The FA have agreed to pay for the damage as they organised the event.

It is understood Manchester United tried to lobby the FA to urge them not to hold the match at 1715 BST, to avoid the threat of drunken trouble.

Manchester United declined to comment.

So many yob football fans :disappointed:

Its a bit sad that some people are inbreads... even though they are they are local rivals... I would not waste my time with such mind-less scrubary, I rather bathe in the glory of beating them on the field of play, a game of passion for heaven sake.

BY the way you will now get thrown out of citys ground if you start singing thoses anti united songs from days gone by, and is often sneered at by others if sung...!

Liverpool's fans should be banned from the cup final then.

Disgusting.

oohh.. i was afraid it was leedsfans again, but they arent that much rival with man utd anymore

i'm a Liverpool fan' date=' but not one off those.[/quote']

That's a clever name. I've been misreading it this whole time.

well..it's awful but it's nothing strange for us here in croatia..i mean fans here are awful (football ones)..whenever there's a huge derbi you're practicly carrying your head in a bag if you go to the game. every single law that was processed till this day was useless..it's awful..it's even cathegorised as a soem what normal match if there were "only" seats that were broken..

i love man utd.
