Hah..yes. I've mentioned this a few times, but when I went backstage at a show for a meet and greet (it was the same days Kanye's 2nd album was coming out), Chris asked in his British accent "Doz en-e woon knoow wen Kan-yay Waste's new al-bem comes ouut?"

 

And I was just simply shocked that he was a fan. Another person backstage said "today." I don't think most people in the U.K. listen to rap.

 

I had no idea, but thought his first album was decent.

It was very brief, but I asked Jonny a few questions in a short interview (I could not understand the accent very well). He was very nice though and for even taking the time to sit down with me. Made a long detailed thread about it on the Coldplay forums that has been bumped off (another gripe with those forums).

Well he also did a collaboration with Timbaland for Nelly Furtado's album, so he's obviously a bit into Hip Hop as well, haha..

Chris has a really eclectic taste in music, like moi :D

In one of the ezines Chris says his favourite song at that time is by The Game or something, so he's obviously into hiphop. He also sang a bit of Goldigger at one of the gigs, did he not?

 

Anyways, I'M SOO HAPPY!! I loooooooooooove Kanye. Probably the only rapper I like. He has such an interesting character, and his songs ROCK. Woooo! I'm SO happy! Chris + Kanye duet = one of my dream duets!!!! :dance:

I'm not into hip hop at all, I absolutely hate it, to be honest ^^ But I looove Kanye, he's actually the only rapper / hip hop artist I like! I love "Touch the sky" and "Gold Digger", it's genius :D

I've been a closet fan of Kanye since I heard "Heard 'Em Say" because anything that has Adam Levine in it wins me over. If he collabs with Chris, I might flip.

 

Oh, and he's coming to Bumbershoot this year. My brothers are going. I may or may not go with them. You don't see too many characters like me at a rap concert. I might get, I dunno. Trampled. XD

 

(And my brothers would be crushed if they learned Chris Martin likes hip hop. :laugh3:)
