Yeah, since when is accepting gifts from friends and family unclassy? well i guess i should go with what you say because you seem to know all about being unclassy. You must turn down every present you get because its the classy thing to do?

I have a huge ol' school ...seriously. and it is not only Seniors (1,200)... but also Juniors (about 1,000) and Sophomores (about 875)

In our district, we have one of the largest student body, and the largest graduating class too  That is why I don't wanna go to the ceremony..it is gonna last FORever and we can't leave till EVERYONE is done

because they say... "it would not be fair if everyone left after walking across and leaving the x, y, x kids with no one to applause but their families".. I said HELLZ no!

anyway....send out those invites!!! It was worth the purchase of the invites to send to relatives and friends (and *coughcough* strangers  )!

I sent a couple hundred to every name laying around my house! ANd I am rollin in the dough! I think since i sent them out I have gotten close to 700 DOLLARS 700 freakin dollars, plus there will be more at the party, and the dinner with my parents friends, and my friends, and people who still haven't mailed me things :D

It's nuts :freak:

and other pals in my school have gotten waaaay more than me, but the amount I have is alot for me.

Oh my god, I can't even start to think about graduation next year. Leaving all of my amazing friends. We all dedicated The Scientist to our graduation. Wow I can't even begin to imagine. There's no way I'm not gunna cry, and I've only cried about 4 times before.

Graduation feels like it's gonna take forever, I can't wait

Hahaha holly crap thats alot, good job. i only sent out 25 invitation but im not expecting money from that.

:(

that is pitiful

you have to know who to send em to... and alot of em... "you get quantity with quantity" *pops suspensers* its the expression us old Seniors spread around when invite time came about

it's not too late to send em out, since you haven't graduated yet?

anyway. I didn't go to prom, didn't get any senior favors, didn't/am not going to any senior end of the year events (though, I did do the senior 'slip n slide' ...cuz it's Texas and hot :cowboy: ) and am not doing the ceremony. No Graduating ring..no nothin.

I don't want any more memories from that hole than I already made.

I mean, high schoolers complain and nag about how BADLY they want to get out an how much of a hole the place is, and then they want to attend and have everything that seniors are entitled to... I think that's a bunch of bull, and I won't regret not participating in any of it

I, frankly, can't wait to get outta there.

TWO MORE DAYS suckahs!!!! :P

Yeah' date=' since when is accepting gifts from friends and family unclassy? well i guess i should go with what you say because you seem to know all about being unclassy. You must turn down every present you get because its the classy thing to do?[/quote']

It was more of the tone of waiting for the rest of your family to give you money, because its some how expected. But hey, around here people don't get cars and such for graduation like in the states. Maybe its just a bigger deal down there.

do people gave gifts because the graduation

omg that's unfair

yep...here it's a big deal here. And that is a good thing ;)

All my relatives helped pay for my trip to Ireland for my graduation. It's pretty normal to have gifts at grad.

I love you. Haha.

Yeah. I'm with him. I'm not gonna be able to contain myself. Actually, I'll probably let it all out a few weeks before and be okay for graduation until me and my close friends have our final goodbyes at the end of the summer.

Then, I'll put the revolver in my mouth and...

I'm graduating in a little over a month. Mine will be around the same size as yours mrcool.
