No - neither could I!! :laugh3:

Turkeys, a very interesting thread, partridge is very pleased with it. Well i would have to say that i am a fan of both turkey and chicken and for christmas dinner i have had both, one year turkey and chicken the next, and so on. I really like both but i think if i had to choose i would probably choose chicken because that is the one i eat the most but i look forward to turkey at christmas more, i love the left over turkey so i can make turkey and stuffing sandwichs.

And what is your opinion of the thread detractors, Alan??

Do you mean the people who delete peoples threads and the people who slag other peoples threads off and don't even give them a chance?

Yes - they're the ones!! There have been plenty who have invaded this thread, unfortunately!!

I think we've finally got the better of them now, though!;)

I thought that's what you meant but just wasn't sure. Well i'm against these people. When i first started this site people accused my threads of being pointless but they were always meant to be taken as a joke. I made "What's your favourite" and thought of loads of different topics but some people didn't give them a chance. They were meant for comedy value for people to discuss their favoutite whatever and also for the subject to get changed to discuss whatever. That's why i liked your thread because it can be taken seriously but also has a comedy element to it. People on this site tend to start pointless threads with no comedy value at all and then they tell me and other people that their threads are pointless, it's best it ignore these people and post what you want. Anyway your thread has pleased the Partridge and many others so i don't see no harm in it al all.

And also i would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who did take mine and others threads as a joke and contribute to them.

Thanks! Where have you been all these years?

It's what I've been saying here all along. There are far too many people on the board who appear to lack a sense of humour and will "dis" others just for trying to have a laugh.

This thread is completely harmless and just a bit of fun.

We can't allow the puritans to stop us!!

Well you're not causing anybody any harm with your threads, so I don't see why anybody should object to them.

Keep on posting, brother!!

It's good to be able to add a "Partridge" to my collection of fowl here!!
