May 24, 200620 yr Author Benjamin Franklin wanted the Turkey to be the United States national bird...he said because they are intelligent birds but we have thea eagle and that is best because if not...come Thanksgiving day...no one would be able to eat turkeys because its illegal to kill the nations bird! Interesting point - but then the Thanksgiving dish might have been bald eagle!!:D I wonder what that would taste like?:thinking:

Well as far as I know there have never been any jokes about "your" country on this or any other thread. You're just way too super-sensitive. Turkey (the nation) is spelt with a capital "T", whilst turkey (the bird) ISN'T a proper noun, and is therefore spelt with a small "T". If you have any other questions relating to this or any other subject, please feel free to ask!;)
