X-Men 3

Has anyone already seen it?

Was it good?

Yes!! very good indeed!!! great quotes of action, and the effects were awesome.

The only bad thing is that at the end of the movie, it feels like there's something missing, like being the final battle it could be more awesome, and some characters could do more!

but afterall was very good, I rated it 9/10 in the movies thread. ;)

I watched it yesterday and I really loved it!Dunno if you noticed, Faust, but after all the credits there was another scene...And this scene really seemed to be a good point for another x men movie...Guess there's another one to come, because this scene really gave ideas about a next one... ;)

Yeah, was pretty good action film.

:stunned: NOOOO, I didn't! what was it????

I really wish i stayed and saw the extra scene, I heard it is pretty cool. All in all I liked the movie alot.

yea i havent seen it yet but i heard about that scene...if i go im staying to see this scene

Yeah, the scene is IMPORTANT. Takes some of the edge off one of the nastier parts of the movie.

I really liked it. I liked X2 better, but this was quite well done. I wish Nightcrawler was in it, though- he's my favorite character. And I had hoped if this is really the last one that Gambit would have been in it. But I guess there just wasn't room, really.

I loved it!

So many cool mutants and the story was pretty significant and faced some ethics.

And my God is Hugh Jackman the perfect specimen of man.

I missed it too! Boo! What was the scene about?

Too many mutants, too short of a movie. Mystique is useless, angel has 2 lines, pyro and iceman do nothing. This movie is pretty much all about jean, wolverine, and magneto. All the other mutants had little to do. I was shocked how short this movie was, and how little screen time each character had. Cyclops was in the movie for 5 minutes. It wasnt really bad, it just wasnt very good. The scene at the end was awesome though. The scene basically was that Professor xavier wasnt really dead. He transferred his mind into the guy who was in a coma. The guy that xavier showed his students in the beginning of the movie.

my goodness i would rape that man if i saw him on the street.

:uhoh:

You got that right!

His wife is soooooo lucky.;)

I also missed NIght-crawler. He was a cool character in teh last movie.

I dunno, I expected a lot more from this movie. I felt really let down at the end. Part 2 is by far the best out of all 3 of the movies. This one relied more on action than characters, and X-Men is most definitely a character driven universe. X-Men United built up to a massive climax, but this movie didn't deliver it.

you know. come to think of it the movie does put A LOT of emphasis on the three characters and not much on the rest. Didn't really realize that until you guys pointed it out oddly enough. I wish Gambit was in it, for he is my favorite of the X-Men. Correct me if I am wrong, but did I see Nightcrawler for a split second in the scene where Magneto is talking to the mutants and calling for an uprising. I think he was crawling along the ceiling.....maybe perhaps....

Exactly!. Like, Angel did absolutely nothing in the entire movie. Rogue did nothing at all. Cyclops got killed off like he was a non-important character. And the list goes on. If X-Men III was a half hour longer, I think it would been much better, but it seemed like Brett Ratner was jamming in as much as he could into as short a running time as possible. And yea, Gambit wasn't in it.

I still think Josh Holloway from Lost would make an awesome Gambit if there's ever a chance...

What?!:shocked2: I don't even remember the guy in a coma.. But I agree, the movie isn't all that great, but it isn't bad either. I was expecting the angel guy to do some fighting, spiting fire or something (I don't remember what he can do other than fly) but he didn't do anything except save his father.

....I actually....LOVED this movie!! lol

My fav character was Beast!! He was the shizzz!!

But yea me nd my bro stayed after the credits nd the scene is like...5 seconds..lol But its good! It was funny though cause some other guys were there nd when the scene ended we were all kinda quiet nd all looked at each other nd this one guy goes "OH SHIT SON!" it was really funny! lol cause the silence had been so akward!

But yes they shouldve given Angel more time on screen...more lines too....

Nd did ne one else find Rogue to be annoying?? Her voice was pissing me off! Its like...she wanted to do the western accent...but couldnt...nd it just annoyed the shizz outta me!

Nd the Kitty girl looked like she was 14....wtf?

But I dont see why they couldnt just have given Jeane the cure...but w/e...lol

I liked it though! :)

^ the Beast was my fav character in the movie that Frasier guy did an excellent job :)

did anyone find it funny that near the end of the movie where Wolverine is being disintegrated by Jeane- all except his pants fly off!?!?! i mean come on, even his flesh is peeling off and yet thos pants stay!

i thought the movie was entertaining and enjoyable yet the script made me laugh (and the pants scene).

also got free ticket as a consolation after movie stopped half way.

^^Haha yea I noticed the pants part too! I was sitting there laughing cause I bet like his head couldve flown off nd those pants were still gonna be on him! I guess they didnt want to show us his "Cash nd Prizes" lol

I absolutely loved this movie.

I think it's about time comic book fans stop bitching about not having a completely accurate movie. When are people going to realize there will never be a perfect comic book/video game to movie translation? It's impossible, simply because elements that work out in the game/comic don't work out well on the big screen. I think, under the circumstances, Ratner did a great job with X3.

Now, here's to Gambit and Havok being in X4.

Hey!!! i think the same!!! He´d make a great Gambit....hope he´s on the next movie if there is one...
