dude i'll be honest... your videos don't really impress me. that stuff's learnable in a couple of months for a begginer piano player, and as far as anyone else, you can learn those songs in 15 or 20 minutes... coldplay's not hard to play at all from a musical standpoint. work on a cover or a coldplay song that's really hard like shiver, and make it good, or just do audio covers. we dont need videos of this. or write your own music.

i started trying to learn this song also, but im still confused as to what is above. could someone clearly outline what the second measure should be? thanks

what I do is: The first chord in the second measure, I hit B,C#,F# with my right hand, right after that chord I hit A# then F# with my thumb, then I adjust to hit the chord with these notes: A,C#,E

Hope that helps alittle bit

what? there shouldn't be any F or C #s...... in your first post, you said the eighth notes were B, A natural, F, and C flat. but the B (flat) is part of the chord, and there are just two eighth notes in the middle, which are A natural, F, and then back up to A flat, which is part of the next chord (Ab, C, Eb). i don't know where you're getting all those sharps from, unless i'm being very ignorant here and missing something, lol.

lmk what you think

thanks

C# and F# is the chord you play, and then I hit B, A# and F# as eighth notes while still holding down C# and F#, then right after the eighth notes I hit Natural A,C# and E as a chord.

that all sounds in a different key

@_@ i'm confused

are you saying the second measure of the sheet music, the chords and individual notes, is wrong?

Hold on, lemme see if I can draw this onto the picture..

ok, so the "official" sheet music is just a half step too low?

in my opinion yes, I find those books are not that accurate, and these notes sound better than what the book says

yeah, i re-listened to the studio track and it seems a bit higher. either that or chris's piano was out of tune ;-)

yeah you're right, I think the book actually does sound better now that I listened to it more carefully.

I will say this. This song is pretty hard to play. I'm kind of sort of playing it! lol!

Anyway, my iPod helps me a lot with timing and other stuff I may notice but for some reason the books won't have! I don't have the whole song by memory just yet but my friends were pretty impressed with what I COULD remember
