Cissé breaks leg... AGAIN.

Damn....

France striker Djibril Cisse has suffered a suspected broken leg in Les Bleus' last warm-up game for the World Cup finals.

The Liverpool star was involved in a collision with a defender after 12 minutes of the game against China and was stretchered off after a sickening landing on his right leg.

The injury appeared to be very serious, with Cisse going to hospital as a result and giving coach Raymond Domenech severe cause for concern with France's opening game coming against Switzerland on June 13.

If the bad news regarding the former Auxerre man is confirmed, then the Bleus boss will have until 5pm on June 12 to name a replacement for his squad.

Cisse suffered a career-threatening broken leg whilst playing for The Reds against Blackburn in October 2004 and Domenech is sweating on the news of the latest injury which looks likely to bring an end to his striker's World Cup dream.

"We're really worried," Domenech told French television at half time. "It's a drama. At the moment, we don't know the exact nature of the injury."

That sucks. :( Does anyone know whether it was his right one he broke last time? So awful for him to do this at all nevermind so close to the world cup.

Hope it's not as bad as it looks and if it is, he makes a full recovery.

Edit: Just found out. Left leg last time, right leg this time. Ouch :(

I was watching the match on TV... it looked pretty bad...

Yeah, I don't really like the player. After all he is a (supposed) woman beater. Still it's a shame it happened so close to the world cup.

Yeah' date=' I don't really like the player. After all he is a (supposed) woman beater. Still it's a shame it happened so close to the world cup.[/quote']

Is he? This ain't bad for Switzerland that are playing against France on Tuesday. Still I feel sorry for him, I don't want this to happen to any player.

Yeah it's a shame. No player deserves this, but that's the way it is sometimes. Yeah it was in the papers a while back that he hit his pregnant wife, it may or may not be true. The papers can get a bit out of hand in England.

True... didn't know that, well you usuallly don't read English newspaper and Swiss newspaper hardly report about foreign footballers, especially not about their private lives, unless during the World Cup.

Feel sorry for Cisse....will the move to Marseille still go ahead..I think thats where he was supposedly going. Doesn't look like he was too happy in Anfield.

Really...though, to break 2 legs in less then 2 years....pretty bad luck.

That picture just leaves you speechless. Awful for him to suffer such an injury just before the World Cup, hope he recovers well.
