In my case i have to say yes....

I experienced a lot many other bands...and I don't listen to Coldplay as much as before...because when you come here all you see is Coldplay...haha....gives you a feeling as if Coldplay were a boyband or something like that...somehow...

that doesn't mean that I don't like this place.....

 

I just feel like that....but it is my own decision to come here!:)

Yes because I have had access to more information about the band and more songs and rarities. I would probably still have loved them but it is great to know that I am not alone in my love for this incredible band and their inspsiringly superb music. :kiss:

Same here!!

I think I listen to them a lot more and now I bore my friends to tears when I talk about them. Also, this board kind of changed my opinion about X&Y. When I first got it I thought it was the most wonderful thing I've ever heard, but then I came here and saw that not many people thought it was as good as their previous stuff. So I listened to their previous stuff more and I have to say I agree now.

it made me want to be a bigger fan, because I thought I was a pretty big fan before becoming involved in the message board, then I see all these people who wait outside for days to get tickets, etc...

It makes me want to be a better person, in the Coldplay sense.

Besides, my collection of Coldplay songs would be absolute shit without this board :)

It made me more interested and a more devoted fan. I probablly wouldn't have listened half as much as I do if I hadn't found coldplaying. When you don't have anyone to talk to about them and don't know anything I find myself getting bored.

it certanly improved my song library- not only the coldplay one but much much other bends, so...

i had my phases since coming here for the first time, so since september- i was totally freaked out and totally obssesed (in kinda the bad way) with them, but that's cus i put all my energy (that came from very rocky times with my now ex boyfriend) in them and music and all...but now..i see i don't have that sick urge to come here the moment im able too. i do respect coldplay more and less. i realised how much they got into hype of this gratest band and that kinda scared the shit out of them so... coldplay will always stay, if nothing,more through my life, a perfect memory. :nice:

It's a nice place to come to now and then, it's also a good place to get all the CP connected news. But I am as big of a fan as I was before. So, nothing has changed when it comes to that. :)

I guess this board changed a lot for me. First of all, I found almost all my b-sides and live songs on here and I also feel a lot better since I'm here because here I see so many people being devoted to the same music/band as me and that cheers me up because I don't have any friends in my area liking the same kind of music.

 

It also made me spending more time on the internet. Just because of this board and all the information I got on here, I decided building up my own Coldplay fansite, just for fun, and I still enjoy editing it. In addition, I think it's a good practice for my English to improve!

 

Well, and when it comes to the attitute towards Coldplay, I guess I see them more like normal people now. You read so much about them on here, I feel like I know so many things I haven't known before, so.. I feel a lot closer to them, you know?
