Anyone remember last night's setlist? (Mon 3/07/06 Melbourne)

 

I know the opened with "Square One", pretty sure that was followed by "Politik", and they finished the encore (3 songs) with "Fix You"

 

In the middle was "Till Kingdom Come" followed by "Ring of Fire".

Setlist was the same as 2/7 with Swallowed replacing the Kylie cover.

Yeah looks like you have the Adelaide one right. I couldnt believe they played How you see the world. Not many people knew it, but I did hehe. Plus they played 17 songs instead of 16. My guess is cause theyre only there one night.

razors_girl23, we were lucky enough to get 17 songs on the second night in Melbourne. archery, what do you mean by a "short bit" of Trouble. They played the whole song in Melbourne ??

I can't speak for him, but at the two Melbourne concerts I went to, I'm pretty sure Trouble wasn't complete. It wasn't really short, but some stuff was cut out like the "They spun a web for me" part where he used to ask the crowd to sing it (like Glastonbury 2002). I think it was a condensed version... they only seem to want to put on a concert of a certain length. I'm not sure if this is good or bad, but one of my dreams is to hear "Spies" and maybe "Shiver" live.

Thanks Stuart, I'll take your word about Trouble being shortened. I remember being pleasantly surprised that it was included (on the 2nd) and enjoyed what we got :) By the way, did the concert on the 3rd differ much?

The only difference on the set list was Swallowed in the Sea back for the Kylie cover. As for the concert quality, I preferred the 3rd, but mainly because I was sat right near the stage, while at the 2nd, I was pretty high up. I don't think there was much difference in the quality of the songs, but sitting in two different places makes for two different concert experiences.

So true. I went to three. The first I was in the second last row. The second I was at the front of the back section right in line with the stage. The third I was on the floor in the second row. I preferred the second show. The sound was better and you could appreciate the lighting show, but the third show was good being that close, I just wish I had been in the front and not standing behind the tallest guy in the fricking stadium, it would have been so much better but I cannot complain haha.
