Addictive Personality?

Featured Replies

Are you the type of person who becomes obsessed with things instantly?

For example, clothes, music, cars, anything. Drugs and alcahol go in that category.

I didnt think I would be, but I am when it comes to intoxicating substances. I was ok with alcahol at first, and once I get settled into it, I'm one drunk mutherfucker.

And then drugs, that was instant wildness.

Sex too, I can go for months and months without it sometimes (Like I have had to sometimes) but once I do it, I pretty much want to screw all the time. Like, all the time, like some kindof animal.

Good times

Well.. since I turned 21 (a couple of months back. Feb!).. and every guy wants to buy me beverage (woohoo!) .. I have a hard time to say no to everything and also because it's a free drink:laugh3: :p but this last saturday was just crazy. My head was about to explode and I couldn't remember where I left it and I hit someone on the face.

When will I learn?:\

*disappointed*

Yeah,I have an addictive personality, it really sucks.

I don't have much experience when it comes to intoxicating substances, but I've had a few bites of it and I have enjoyed it so far. I can live without alcahol just fine, but when I have a drink one night out something inside of me wants more. The same thing happened with smoking

mmmm......I dont think I have an addictive personality, the only addiction I have is coffee :uhoh:

I can say Im a cleaning psycho

I don't believe I have one... I do become addicted to my close friends though.... I always need someone really close.... otherwise I don't think I have any big addictions... I guess I'm addicted to music but who isn't?

I'm a very addictive person...

Cars, Coldplay...

I've listened to Moby during 3 years...

Coldplay...I'll listened to them during my whole life...

The problem is that I can only listen to a band or a singer til I discover sth better!!!

but I like this part of me...I think I'm quite stubborn but I find it's a quality and I 'll call it perseverance...

I'm really addictive.

I obsess with everything that I come to like. Whether it be Coldplay, House MD, drums, the guy I like, guitar, photography... meh. I'm always obsessed with something. And they're not just short term obsessions--my obsessions last for years. Gr. Dude, even rollercoasters--I fucking love those things.

It's so damn annoying though--I don't wanna be obsessed with everything, but I am! Gah!

I'm scared that if I try drugs or alcohol I'll be obsessed with those. Meh.

Yep, very addictive personality. I'm just lucky I have some good will power

i get addicted to certain things easily.

well,once i'm obsessed i become a total freak.

it's definitely not normal because i want to know EVERYTHING about that thing and i want it everywhere and always.

mhhh ... i'm a dork

well, I'm addicted to Coldplay and Yeah Yeah Yeahs

...and I feel like I'm addicted to food. I'm only truly happy when i'm eating and I use food for comfort.

I had to completely stop playing videogames for several years because they were taking over my life. :( It would probably be a good idea to do the same thing with the internet for awhile sooner or later.

I don't drink and I've never tried drugs for that very reason- I have trouble cutting back or walking away from things sometimes.

hah!

NO.

At first, something or someone seems really awesome. But quickly I get sick of it.

And within a day or too it's usually off with it. It's like having a short attention span with me.

when I was younger I didn't have an addictive personality but I've changed since a year ago or so. Then, I was addicted to Coldplay and everything related to them, but not in a "normal way", but it went too far. They have been my only and real obsession that I've ever had and I'm still like before although... a little bit better, fortunately.

the only thing I'm addictied to right now is internet and msn, it's not healthy. the times I'm not out with my friends, I can sit infront of the computer for hours and hours just talking to friends, listen to music and go to different sites. I'm gonna try to cut down on those hours now because it's getting a bit out of hand :\

other than that I don't get addicted to things for longer periods. I can be really obsessed of something for a shorter period though but then that obsession is gone and it's "back to normal"

Not really I guess. Did take to alcohol a lot when I was first allowed to drink it, but got bored. Bein' drunk isn't fun. Am now seriously addicted to girlfriend though =)

Congrats on that Ireeeney :nice: Im happy for ya

Yep, I get addicted very easily. But at the same time I can maintain enough reason to know when to take a break or stop. Smoking for instance, as soon as I started I was totally hooked but once I felt like that phase was over..I quit cold turkey.

I have an addicted personality, when I get obsses with something or someone i think i anoy all the ppl around mee... hehehe, Im always talking about the same thingggss andd...I realised that , but I cant stop it! I was obsses with coldplay,I think im obsses now...but in a better way ....

About smoking,I think Im not adictted.... I smoke.. but, on weekends or when Im with my best friend...I dont worry about that....
