Unfortunately, Piotrkow doesn't have north twin cities :dozey: But, well. I'm happy that Łódź has!

Close enough, right? ;)

Yeah! It's something abut an hour in good car xD

hmm this is a 50minutes in a old PKS (junky national bus) which costs about 10zł (about 2.50Euro)

It has to be in somewhere in the middle..

press conference in Sau Paulo, Brasil. nice

Haha, Chris gets crabby towards the end.

He so shouldn't let those Gwyneth questions bother him so much. He should learn to expect it and just tell them, "Hey I don't talk about my family because thats my private life." He doesn't have to let it make him angry, it just makes him look bad. He's the lead singer of the the biggest band in a long time...and he's married to an A-list Academy Award winning actress...whose former relationships were quite public and high profile. Duh, they are gonna ask! I remember when he said "Oh I don't mind. You have to deal with cockroachs anywhere you work." Yeah right! lol As far as Gwyneth, I think she handles questions about him and her kids quite well in comparison.

Will.............RIGHT on about melodies. I always say that no one cares about melody anymore. Just beats that were apparently created so people with ADD can blow out the bass systems in their cars.

That's pretty much what I was thinking too. Chris shouldn't let the dumb paparazzi get under his skin too much, but it must be pretty hard to not let it bother you. :\

I was browsing YouTube one day, and I came across a video of Gwyneth just going to her car. There were some 50 (no lie) people with cameras hounding her.

She got into her car and instead of running them over, just said "thank you" for moving out of her way and went on with her day. (how she managed that, amazes me! :stunned:)

Couldn't agree more with you about the people who forget about the melodies of songs, and focus on zooming up the street at 100 mph with their bass booster stereo

rumbling through everybody's houses >>> this comes from personal experience ;).

Here's a Coldplay cover Band! :)

“Daylight” by the band Artless (Very Good!)

“’TIL KINGDOM COME”, “CLOCKS”, & “WHAT IF” (Chris has an apple on the piano! ^__^) - MUCH MUSIC 2005 with AWESOMENESS!

Classic Coldplay Clip: X&Y Interview

While most U.K. groups go down as easily in America as a plateful of haggis or a mug of room-temperature beer nowadays, there's one band that continues to lead a British invasion all on its own. In fact, with their epic third album X&Y (13 tracks of universally appealing, U2-worthy rock--or "soft rock," as singer Chris Martin puts it), not to mention sold-out stadium tours and a regular spot in the tabloids thanks to Martin's high-profile marriage to A-list actress Gwyneth Paltrow, Coldplay seem on the verge of genuine world domination.

X&Y is influenced by European electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk, as well as 1970s electronica from the likes of David Bowie and Brian Eno. Coldplay received permission from Kraftwerk to use the main riff from "Computer Love" for the track "Talk", while Eno played backing synthesizer on the track "Low". The album's final track, "'Til Kingdom Come", was originally written by the band to be recorded by Johnny Cash, but Cash passed away before he could record the song.

According to lead singer Chris Martin, the title X&Y is based on the ups and downs of his everyday life. Martin says "My whole day is a mixture of optimism and pessimism in its most extreme forms. And that’s what X&Y is to me. It’s two sides. I like the fact they’re very strong letters, very clear." He has also stated that he chose the name X&Y because in mathematics X and Y represent the unknown, and that most of the tracks on the album are about the unknown and life's unanswerable questions.
