no one on radiohead can play an instrument like matt imho... not to insult them but matthew is an outstanding guitarist. and chris is an amazing bassist. Just because I like radiohead doesn't mean I will say every member is amazing.

I voted for radiohead because in my own personal view' date=' they have released a couple of the best albums in my own list. Coldplay come in 2nd place with some of chris's lyrics and the guitar playing and Muse in a close 3rd, although if i give the album another spin on the old iTunes, than it might swap around[/quote']

comparing these bands in MUSICAL AND NON-BIASED way is silly.

 

Radiohead's category is Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Oasis and maybe even The Beatles

 

Coldplay's and Muse's is Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, Travis and maybe even Nirvana or The Smashing Pumpkins ;)

Thom's piano is incredible and i highly doubt that Matt's is much better (Like Spinning Plates, How I Made My Millions, Videotape)

+ Jonny plays piano as well...so it's at least draw, but i think Radiohead would win it

 

Radiohead's guitar period was much better and interesting than Muse's 4 albums IMO. the guitar duels between Ed and Jonny on The Bends and OKC are amazing, and Matt can't beat that alone, i think.

have you seen matt play the piano though, in such songs as butterflies and hurricanes, in the piano interlude? on a technical level, i say matt's ability to play the piano is let's say... of a higher standard than thom's, even if we are involving songs like 'like spinning plates', 'how i made my millions'.

i meant musical achievements and not musical styles ;)

as i can see , the results are pretty tight....and even i really love muse and radiohead ( amazing bands) my love is coldplay...it's because of their songs...the lyrics are just so beautiful :)

 

and i really wonder who is gona take the most of votes....

yes, thom's piano is incredible... but matt plays an instrument on every song and plays amazingly about every time.. It's like comparing Tiger Woods to a person who got 5 under par a couple of times.

Hmm... Yeah, if we're talking about achievements than I have to agree that Muse are not so good as Radiohead. One day they will be, maybe, but not now. Though I don't really care how many people love the band I like and how much has this band done for music world, the main thing that I like them ^__^

I'd definitely classify some Radiohead with Pink Floyd, but I'd classify Muse with Led Zeppelin
