July 18, 200619 yr Yeah, if you don't have a grasp of the language its self...the accents wouldnt make a difference to your ear. I know many ecuadorians and love to listen to the airy vowels and missing consonants... :cheesy: Salvadorian accents are like that too..their tounges are more light on certain sounds.... O and Spaniards TOOO so sexy! And Puerto Rican accents o my latin accents are cool.
July 18, 200619 yr i'm so in love with all the british accents. they're just so sexy ... haha :D it just sounds so noble :nice: sometimes i'm trying to imitate it ... haha :) i think i'm pretty good but of coursea native english-speaker would think that i'm a freakin poser ... :laugh3: whatever ... i love imitating accents in general ... for example the french, italian, spanish, dutch one ... or even a german trying to speak english. you know ... those typical stereotypes that say "ze" instead of "the".

Croatian accents are more or less normal. yes, i hate that too when i speak english, i speak the way i'd pronounce everything ... i don't try to sound english (i'm just imitating their accent when i'm with my friends ;) ) but we've got that one english teacher at school who is NOT english but she's trying very hard to copy the accent ... :D :laugh3: how stupid :dozey:

July 18, 200619 yr oh, i forgot to mention that i'm pretty good at copying the swiss accent :wink3: and the sächsisch one (fuck, what's the englisch word for sächsisch?! :laugh3: ) but most germans are able to imitate that one since it's soooo funny :lol:
July 18, 200619 yr There's lots of accents in Britain like everywhere else. Some people here have a strong accent but I didn't really have a problem to understand them.
