Vid - People needlessly shot and hurt with rubber bullets while peacefully protesting

Woman shot with rubber bullets while peacefully protesting in Miami

Watch the vidio showing the Darth Vader style police having what they call fun?!?!

Elizabeth Ritter was shot four times with rubber bullets by police while she was protesting a Free Trade Summit in Miami, August 10.

VIDEO - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Slaw1tYDPFc

This horrifying example truly shows the disconnect between police and the citizens they pose as protecting and serving.

These police actually laugh at their victims, in spite of news cameras and hundreds of witnesses of which they were certainly aware. Arrogant and unchecked power now threatens to be the norm for ever-increasing riot police.

They rule with faux violence and real threats (rubber bullets been known to cause death, in certain cases). Here, Ritter was even shot in the face in an archetypal showdown with goons dressed in black 'storm trooper' uniforms, over-armed to handle a peaceful protest.

They shoot at a business woman repeatedly, even after seeing blood drip from her body. Somewhere, behind a disconnected, under-informed and wrongly influenced "peaceful" force, these instruments of terror think they are protecting the populace rather than subjecting them to tyranny, all the more terrifying for being out in the open.

Do you think I even implied that in any sort of way? at all? any percent?

"you break the law you get a rubber bullet..."

You know it wont be rubber bullets in the future right??

I'll leave someone else to comment on your submissive attitude towards what essentially will make you a slave to those very dim-witted police who think they are big and clever......meat headed scum.

Again, building your argument with something silly which I didn't incinuate at all - i.e that I think the police should go easy on murderers and you compare my original point to the rubbish you said (above), trying to say it's AS crazy.

It's a stage of 'pity' which I feel.

I never said you think police should go easy on murder, my point was you were attacking them for doing thier job.

How did they broke the law?

yeah, isn't the right to protest enshrined in the US constitution?

So the protesters weren't breaking the law, they were upholding their rights.

The police on the other hand were neither serving nor protecting

there are legal ways to protest, you cant just protest anytime and anywhere. i cant just gather a thousand peopl and just protest anywhere, and when im alowed to, their a rules. their would be utter chaos if not.

so the police were serving, by doing their job......

Oh, your going to make an excellent slave.

A prime example.

no ones a slave...only you a slave to your conspiracy theories

but protesting can be done and legal just not any time any place. like hunting...you're free to hunt, just the right way...

nothing unfree about that.....

No, no....your forgetting the case in hand. This woman and others were purposely shot as a bit of 'fun'. It's even more serious since the men in charge of the Police have the same mentality and actively encouraged this behavior.

This sort of thing has been going on for a long time now and it's escalating now at an alarming rate. The Police are becoming more militarized and are increasingly enforcing 'laws' which are destroying the principles of a free society.

they were well within legal law to do what they did.

laws that arent fascist or wrong

Why is it necessary to fire on a crowd of peaceful protesters? Can't you use some other less violent means? I mean seriously, whatever happened to diplomacy or communication.

Within this situation presented, you're 100% wrong and your attitude is contributing to the death of your country.

Well done!

Who's Anti-American now? Because the way you think surely isn't what America should be about. It's been hi-jacked and your a massive victim if you really believe what you write.

how do you know they didnt try that? most protest they HAVE to use force because the other methods dont work....its within their right...if people wont obey the simple law they get what they get....just like if you pull a gun on a cop and get shot...you asked for it. i dont feel sorry for people like that.

hmmm yes im anti american for saying simple laws should be upheld....gee im evil.

america is about freedom, but their is a line....the way i think is what america is.

what next i want a rapist to to jail im gonna be even more anti american?

or if they tazer a guy with a gun....im gonna be called anti american again?

your kind of views are arent american...protesting happens all the time, but they have to do it the right and legal way...otherwise their would be chaos, and thats not what america is about

this is afirst, though, called anti american for wanting the police to take action that is legal....haha wow:rolleyes:

you're right i am anti american, some dude stole a car and the cops caught him and used peppar spray on him and i agreed with that....im a regular hitler!\

dude then they caught a murder and had to shoot him when he attacked a cop....and i saw nothing wrong with that....im the worst anti american person alive..get a grip dude. im all for things when done legally...

my point, there is a legal and right way to do things, and when they are done illegaly and wrong...then i agree with using the law to stop it...kinda like i agree for the cops to arrest somones when he's trying to break into my house, guess im just a fascist like that....

you're sounding like an anarchist......

just like if you pull a gun on a cop and get shot...you asked for it.

Funny you should say that.

~~

Yeah rapists go to jail.

Guys with guns get tazered.

Murderers get shot when they try to kill cops.

Yes, those examples are all very similar to those lethal peaceful protests.

Funny you should say that.

they arent even close

my point was those things are things that happen when people break the law, and i support rapist going to jail, or if a cop is attacked having to use lethal force...just as much as i support cops enforcing the laws on protesters....that was my point, all those cases are cops doing their jobs legally and i support it and i was called anti american people i support enforcing the legal law..

now how is anti american to support police when they do their job?

the police did NOTHING illegal or wrong and they shouldnt be treated like criminals for doing their job.

so what would be the real anti american thing is not supporting police doing their job...what they did was no worse then a cop tazering a suspect who wouldnt comply with the law, or a cop having to shoot an attackers..nothing anti american about it, it is infact QUITE american.

YOU ABSOLUTELY KNOW THAT ALL THE ABOVE ARE THINGS YOU HAVE SUGGESTED AND ARE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CASE I MADE FOR THE EVENT WHICH THIS THREAD IS ABOUT.

People = read what he's said, it's just a list of actual random crimes....then says he's bad for agreeing with the police action in an attempt to suggest that I think that the police action is wrong; It's nothing to do with the peaceful protest shooting.

Come on, anybody else see what he's done there?? (Just Straw Man argument after Straw Man argument)

He actually probably doesn't know he's doing it.....pure habit from watching Sean Hannity on Fox News too much.....no, seriously :(

you called me anti american for supporting the law....that is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. but im not surprised you said it

is that all you can do? is claim everything is from foxnews? ive told you a thousand times the majority of my news is european....if you are going to argue and try to insult me DO IT RIGHT, thats all i ask.:laugh3:

i was showing common sense....like how it is not anti american to support the legal system....just like its not anti american to support police doing their job. thats what you attacked me for, SUPPORTING police DOING their job....a job thas within their legal power...just like it is legal for cops to arrest rioters or murders.....you made it out to seem someone is anti american for supporting the police....

Why is it necessary to fire on a crowd of peaceful protesters? Can't you use some other less violent means? I mean seriously' date=' whatever happened to diplomacy or communication.[/quote']

Didnt look all that peaceful to me, Seemed to be quite a few angry, agressive people. We've seen riots and all sorts start from these sorts of protests. Some people go to those protests to cause trouble.

What rubbish

you called me anti american for supporting the law....that is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. but im not surprised you said it

I was attacking you for your support for the police action at the Miami protest.

My point was that if you support the way they acted in this case then it is this type of support from people which will lead to

the end of your county as a free society; you will end up in a heavily suppressed Police State.

is that all you can do? is claim everything is from foxnews? ive told you a thousand times the majority of my news is european....if you are going to argue and try to insult me DO IT RIGHT' date=' thats all i ask.:laugh3:[/quote']

He Ha Ha Ha He He blah blah blah....

My reference to Fox News was due to the similarities in the way you argue.

Due to your disgusting praise of Fox News in the past I thought that a comment which picked up on the techniques used by both you and their "news anchors" was valid;

shifting the topic into a Straw Man argument like in you next comment below.

i was showing common sense....like how it is not anti american to support the legal system....just like its not anti american to support police doing their job. thats what you attacked me for' date=' SUPPORTING police DOING their job....a job thas within their legal power...just like it is legal for cops to arrest rioters or murders.....you made it out to seem someone is anti american for supporting the police....[/quote']

As I said, I attacked you for your support of the way the Police acted in Miami.

However, I did not attack you for your support of allowing "cops to arrest rioters or murders" or as you previously mentioned "what next, I want a rapist to go to jail am I gonna be even more anti american?"

^ So why did you mention those things?? It was to make it seem as if the things I said about the police in Miami were as unreasonable as not sending "a rapist to jail" or "arresting murderers". Both things you know everybody will agree with, as do I.

So you make no point......just alot of pointless rambling.

try to reason it as you wish...but you attacked me for supporting cops breaking up a protest and they did it legaly and had a right too. its no anti american to enforce the law even on protesters.

i made a point, that being the cops were in the right and legal law...
