Hey guys,

word on the street is that Chris and Gwen both performed with Jay-Z tonight and his 25 piece orchestra. the two came on for Jay's performance of Dead Presidents II, where Gwen provided the backing vocals! It doesn't sound as though they performed a new song tonight! But it's pretty early still to know for sure.

Jay-Z joined by onstage by Chris and Gwynnie at London show - The Albert Hall gets big surprise

Jay-Z was joined onstage tonight (September 27) by special guests Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow on vocals as he played the second of his two London shows this week.

The surprise came at what was the first ever hip-hop gig at the prestigous Royal Albert Hall.

Performing in front of a sold-out crowd, as he did at Wembley Arena in the UK capital at the weekend (September 24), the rapper brought out the Coldplay singer for an untitled new song from Jay-Z's forthcoming new album, as well as a run through 'Heart Of The City (Ain't No Love)' from Jay's classic LP 'The Blueprint'.

Martin's Oscar-winning actress wife Paltrow supplied backing vocals on another track from 'The Blueprint', 'Song Cry'.

Paltrow had previously sang in the 2000 movie 'Duets', and has appeared onstage with pal Sheryl Crow in the past. She has also had a couple of hits in Australia.

Nas also joined his old sparring partner onstage, as he did at Wembley, to sing three songs - 'Hate Me Now', 'Made You Look' and 'If I Ruled The World'.

The rapper, who has now completed his UK tour, is releasing his new album 'Kingdom Come' - confirming that he has reversed his decision to retire - in November.

Chris and Gwyneth join Jay-Z

'nother article

Coldplay star Chris Martin and wife Gwyneth Paltrow joined rapper Jay-Z on stage at his historic Royal Albert Hall show on Wednesday.

The '99 Problems' rapper performed the first ever hip-hop show at the famous London venue and invited the celebrity couple along to sing backing vocals in front of a sell-out crowd.

Coldplay singer Martin took to the stage to sing on an untitled new song from the rapper's forthcoming album as well as old song 'Heart Of The City (Ain't No Love)'.

Martin was widely expected to appear at the gig after producing a track on Jay-Z's new LP, but the appearance of Hollywood star Paltrow stunned the audience.

The Oscar winner, who has had a few pop hits in Australia, provided backing vocals for the track, 'Song Cry'.

Fellow rapper Nas also appeared for a trio of songs, just as he did at Jay-Z's Wembley Arena concert on Sunday evening.

The show was the last on Jay-Z's UK tour and he will release his eagerly anticipated new album, 'Kingdom Come', in November.
