Venus Posted June 4, 2003 Share Posted June 4, 2003 (no offense to any Carley's or blondes out there. . .) I personally do NOT like my name for three main reasons. Number Three? Because every Carley I have ever met is just a complete ditz. Admittedly, in High School my nickname was "Phoebe" (yes, the Friends Phoebe) so I am not without my. . . *cough* Cooky-ness *cough* ;) But, still, Carley's tend to bring a certain image to mind: an image which I resemble in no way. Number Two: NO ONE seems to ever get my name right. I really don't care-- it's no big deal, but I'm either Carla, Carrie, Carmen, Kara, Kayla, Chrissy, Karen . . . you get the picture. AND THE NUMBER ONE REASON I DO NOT LIKE MY NAME: In grade school I quickly discovered that my name was the easiest one to do the Name Game to: "Carley Barley Bo-Barley Bannana Fanna Fo-Farley, Me Mi Mo-Marley!
