I totally squeeed out over Mew gig at work yesterday... only one week for me now... *hyperventilates*!

and the whole day was great and just like Jazz I am broken hahahaha, I can't post anything decently I should go to bed or something.

 

They played new material! And there were new backdrops and the place was beautiful, ow and yes we met some people ;)

 

I can't wait for the next gig. It was really great. I just didn't expect them to come up with a new song and it was a very nice one as well! As ever!

Tell me tell me tell me !

Ok it went something like this. I picked up Kim drove to Brussels and met Christel there. When we arrived at the venue around 2:30ish, we took a little break there in a cafeteria and while we were sitting there Mew guys kept passing by. Individually. So first we saw JJ, but he was kind of cold and in a hurry so no pic of him. Then we saw Silas, and I must say that man has some seriously beautiful eyes, he is so much more handsome in real life. We chatted for a short time I asked him if I could take a picture with him, he said normally that he doesn't do it ;) but that he will do it for us. So as you saw on FB we took quite a few pics with him. :D He was so sweet. Then we saw Dr.Watts, he was also very friendly and took a picture with us. After harassing those two we went back to our seats and hold and behold, walks by Bo. I could hardly say to Christel "there, there is BO" when she started running after him (I love that woman). So I went after her and there was FREAKING BO. So I have no idea what we talked about, I just remember that Christel asked him why forum was down, he said "it wasn't me that crashed it", I said something stupid like "are you sure". We said thank you for your music and for bringing us together as friends and etc, and then I asked for picture. And of course Christel was like pointing at me "no like just she wants to take a picture with you", um thanx for embarrassing me :) but anyway, I have two precious pics with him.

 

Afterwards we saw him pas by again just before the gig (in the meantime we went to eat something). And then comes the gig. The 3 of us had a great time, danced, sang and I have feeling the the boys of Mew really saw us, LMAO! Three crazy chicks jumping up and down. :) Well anyway, I made my banner beforehand (Pancake Maestro) and when they returned for encore they played Special. I was really embarrassed to put up my banner, but decided to do it anyway when Bo was alone with Nick on stage and then he saw IT. He looked, SMILED,and then winked at me. I almost fainted. Not only that, but, as wyred can confirm it, at certain point he came right in front of me to play a guitar. Like just for me. Like thanks or something! Maybe I was hallucinating, but Kim said the same thing that she saw it. :) All the other guys also saw the banner and smiled, haha, I kept it just for few seconds for them to see it. I think it went really well. Haha anyway I am glad now that I dared to do it!

 

This whole experience couldn't have been more perfect. They are so nice. Bo especially :) The whole experience with my two new-found friends was awesome. And I wish it lasted longer. ANd I can't wait to do it again. <3<3<3

Funny thing after meeting Bo, we were discussing whether he had moustache and I truly couldn't remember. So we had to look at the pictures. LOL!

In real life that moustache is really hardly noticeable. Seriously.

No, I told you that he had a stache, but you guys didn't believe me and had to look at the picture.

 

and yeah as Jazz said, Silas looks way better in real life, I don't know how that works, haha.

 

and yes, after Jazz had put up that banner Bo knew he was loved and played the guitar right in front of Jazz' nose.

I can't describe how envious I am. I'll just have to live vicariously through your pictures and stories. I'm soooo happy that you all had such a great time! :D

Thanks, I think we are too. I forgot to add that meeting Silas go my hands shaking. I was really so excited to meet him. I even told him that "look my hands are shaking" and he was like "ah there is no reason" and I was like "yes I know there is no reason but still ..." *forehead slap* ;)

 

Anyyyywaaay, I am glad that it wasn't Bo that I met first. I would have really been shaking then. ;)
