yeah the greatest is such a beautiful song really illuminates the soft, smooth and breezy quality of her voice.

 

she is truely talented- i would kill (i'm being dramatic here i wouldn't really)- to have a voice like hers or like Regina Spektor, Lauran Hill, Norah Jones, Aretha---- but were are talking about Cat Power so i'll leave it there...

But......See her live and then you'll know what it's like to see a pretty girl drink her way through a large bottle of Jack Daniels Whiskey while attempting to play the piano. It was in Bush Hall in Shepherds Bush, London.

 

That's one and a half hours of my life I won't ever be getting back. Although the ticket was free.

Her song 'I Found a Reason' was featured in the V for Vendetta soundtrack.. which I instantly loved! And so I decided to download some of her albums.

I've started with 'Moon Pix' and 'The Greatest'. So far, I really really like both a lot! :smiley:
